Very unpleasant airport,no seating available at any of the eateries and very few staff cleaning up,would definitely try and avoid Manchester if atall possible

What a terrible airport, came off a delayed flight from Lanzarote, after a bus journey from plane to arrivals which took nearly 10 minutes we arrived at passport control and a 20 minute, disorganised queue at 1am. Then over 40 minutes waiting for luggage to come through, not a single member of customer service available, carousel screen not working so not 100% sure we were even waiting in the right place. If your going to create such a large airport employ staff to deal with the relevant areas.

What an absolute sh*t hole terminal 3 is . The toilets were awful, toilet roll all over the floor and it stunk . The machine to give feed back wasn't there , I wonder why. A very busy terminal with very little space, its like being ushered through a dungeon

Absolutely shambles from start to finish This is the first holiday since January 2020 as my hubby became very ill, I booked wheelchair assistance from manchester airport for 13th April 2023, we where also taking my hubby?s walker , got all booked in at there desk , label on the walker ready to go under the plane , all seemed ok ( didn?t know why I was stressed out) we got through security checks , moved to there designated area waited to be taken to the boarding gate , easy ? , then it went all Pete tong , we where taken to a boarding gate for Ibiza , I?m saying to this man where not going to Ibiza where going to gran caneria, are you sure he pipes up , so back to there designated area we go , another hour later where taken to the correct boarding gate , and just left , there where 4 other wheelchair users waiting to board , now I had asked before I even got to the airport stage weeks before , do we go in the plane first oh yes of course you do , but you don?t you sit there while everybody else gets boarded , then they take you on a packed plane , there?s no over head baggage space left but halfway down the plane , my husband was in a right state , when the plane lands in gran caneria you now wait until everybody has got off ( which is a good thing) then your collected by none speaking English, Spanish men , I tried to explain I have a walker to pick up just blank stares as he kept pushing my husband away from the baggage carousel until I stopped him and showed him a picture of the walker , he just grunts and I go off to find it , once found after 30 mins searching , we go to our transport , have a lovely 2 weeks , then the panic sets in as it?s airport time 27th april 2023 , we get to the airport at gran caneria press the button for assistance and are told to wait someone would be along soon , 1 hour later this man appears doesn?t speak just puts my husband in a wheelchair we then go down in a lift to the Ryanair desk for assistance check in , we do that , then back up in the lift taken through security, and then it must have been a 30 min walk to the other end of the airport and we where again just dumped here , 2 hrs later we finally get onto some sort of floating cabin , me my hubby and another lady and taken onto the runway tarmac , and we sat in this sweltering box for over an hour as the plane we where going home in hadn?t even landed , again as we where sitting there we thought that we would get on the plane first , not a chance, the plane arrives we watch the busses pull up with the rest of the passengers, then they finally let us board again by this time the planes full so we have the same bad experience as we did going out , again once landed back in Manchester we sit and wait , everyone gets off , then so do we there is one lady waiting to push 2 wheelchairs up to the security desk she takes the lady then comes back for my hubby , this goes on all through the airport, 1st one then back for another, we asked if this happens all the time and she says sometimes you have 4 wheelchairs to one helper , I had 2 small cases and my hubby?s medical equipment so I couldn?t push the wheelchair, any way we get down to the baggage carousel and my hubby?s walkers on it so I say to the woman we will walk from here as we had left the plane over an hour earlier , so he pushed his walker and we got to the transport bus to take us to jet parks 3 car park , it?s now 12:45am we landed at 11:15pm, where both shattered, we get on a very packed bus and once it drives into jet park 3 he doesn?t shout the bus stop numbers , it?s pitch black and raining so people are shouting down the bus what stop is this , the driver was so rude , he really didn?t want to be driving that bus , anyway we finally got to our stop got in the car and I drove home , I don?t think we will risk going abroad again any time soon as it?s not worth the upset

Needs updating, to include a Premier lounge that is open 24/7 not just 16:00 at one side and 19:30 at the other. A smoking area (many grumpy passengers) do the airport bosses think serving alcohol with no smoking areas is a brilliant idea? Staff are nice and the place is dated but clean

I ordered assistance as I now use prosthetic legs and the assistance was unprofessional rude and belittling making comments about ?back in nam? showing off to the lass and having childish game of grab ass another ignorant moron turned up by this point my head was buried in my phone with embarrassment the new guy that turned up began to speak about me like I wasn?t there even going as far to say ?is that him? in the most condescending voice I?ve ever heard I felt as though he despised me so at this point I looked him dead in the eyes and said you alright pal to which he looked away hopefully in shame but having some time to think it over I can only put his demeanour down to how disgusted he was by having to help me I?ve only ever come across a few people like this in my disabled life but this one really took me back I know I?ll avoid Manchester airport from now on and I hope that one of my brothers reads this sees them mistreating people and briefs them on respect for others because we all know people like these 3 cowards enough said just needed to get that off my chest as it set a really bad tone to my entire journey and I keep thinking who else they may be abusive towards??. am gutted

Security is total chaos, nobody knowing what to do or where to go. Area far too small for volume of passengers. Waiting at gate as displayed on departures board and no info on why we are not boarding.An hour later someone asked at info desk and was told we were still waiting for the crew ???? Flight tracker says we?ve left on time. No updates or info given, ridiculous. Definitely the worst airport and I travel all over the world. Always hate coming here. The staff are so miserable and angry looking every time I come here ?

Slow service, my meal was handed to another customer who brought it back after opening it, the staff then handed it to me, but i said no as it had already been sampled. The staff member in A temper screwed it up and threw it in the bin. I then had to wait again, when i received my order, the chips were cold as they had already put the chips and burger in the bag and i had to wait for one piece of chicken that took a long time and wasn't worth because it had several fine bones, pepsi was order without ice, but served with ice and the staff were unfriendly.

My mum has COPD and struggles with any distance walking. Why are we being made to park in a MULTI STOREY car park miles away from the T3 arrivals? Absolutely criminal! She has to get her bags, walk to the entrance, go up in the lift and then walk across a long slipped bridge to then have to find the car. Shocker!

there is a good selection of drinks and food as well as face masks and SIM cards and the usuals.\\n\\nI was served by Sarah and she was very helpful and put my drinks in a carrier bag for me and went the extra mile.

An extremely excellent experience and very little time spent on Arrival entry formalities. People here are very very helpful and friendly and service is very good. Constant drizzling ? Maybe it was the thing of the year at that time, but was a little frightening for us, with the temperatures being 4 degrees Celsius.
