Exchanging my phone after less than a week of use due to the battery draining and screen issues. Was greeted by a very rude member of staff, who told me to go to Apple instead although I was still within my 14 days. I had actually already been to Apple and spoken to a Genius Bar staff and Apple had said there was nothing they could do at that point as it was still in the exchange/return period. The staff member in Tesco eventually swapped it out for a new one, for him to then disappear into the back of the shop and return with a phone which had no cellophane on, I told him I would prefer one which was sealed due to issues with the last phone so that I knew it was new. He refused and said there was nothing he could do. I would have to wait 24 hours, and do another exchange! Which he knew I couldnâ??t do as it was the last day of my 14 day exchange/return period. Upon inspecting the phone in the box, it had been used as the SIM card tray was scuffed from where the applicator had been put into it etc. I complained to which he then embarrassed myself by shouting at me to tell me I was wrong in front of other customers and other staff members. My partner who was looking at notepads and stationary could hear the outburst from the front of the store. I asked one of the staff members who was absolutely baffled to see if the manager was available. When he arrived at the phone shop, the rude member of Tesco mobile staff belittled me, and made me out to be a liar which I was most certainly not, but continued to portray this as loud as possible, he even changed his story and said Iâ??d asked him to apply the SIM card which I had in my hands the whole time. And then called me a liar again! Even the manager was embarrassed by his behaviour pulled me to one side inspected the phone himself and agreed with me. From this he himself did a new exchange within 5 minutes and profusely apologised about the Tesco mobile member of staffs behaviour. From this I have had no follow up on the incident, no formal apology and am totally disgusted by his behaviour. However thank you to the duty manager who dealt with the situation and tried to apologise on his behalf. In regards to these events I shall not be coming to this store again.

Not really been in here small shop at the back of large tesco do all new phones. Facing entrance.

Tesco Walkden phone shop is the place to go for a contract phone or pay monthly. The staff can't do enough to help, and the after sales service is very useful If, like me, you have questions or any problems with the phone. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because sometimes there can be a lengthy wait to get served.
