This Tesco is huge. This Tesco Extra has a very large diversity of products. I have bought many nice things from this Tesco. Plenty of vegan and gluten free options here, there are a couple of isles for stationary, toys and electronics.A greggs has recently opened up inside of the Tesco too, I am looking forward to trying it. There is also a Holland and Barrett inside which is quality.Fun fact! This Tesco is the biggest in the country and Is almost the size of two football pitches. It is definitely a noteworthy Tesco.-1 star for the upset it caused me every time I was forced to come here as a child.

Excellent large store with undercover parking and excellent cafe. If there is something you want, you will find it here. One of the larger Tesco stores in the area and well worth a visit.

Home delivery service is awful. Alcoholic items always arrive with security tags on, gone off mushy fresh herbs, and most delivery drivers are so hostile and rude. It's like they hate their job, so unpleasant and unfriendly.

Decent sized tesco Extra, there's a petrol station that's pretty cheap, there's a homebase inside, Holland and Barrett, and a entertainer in the you section. They have a pharmacy, lots of choice, pretty much everything. The negatives are that the car park can get busy, the traffic to enter and exit builds easily, it's on the first floor of Walkden town centre shopping centre, currently the nearest escalators are out of action. So you'll need to use the furthest escalators, lifts, or the stairs to enter.

Not an awful store but on 1st October 2023 there were lots of empty spaces on the shelves, huge sections of the fruit section given over to selling bulbs and aisles in the store clogged with 3 or 4 Tesco online shoppers with their trundling carts, seemingly oblivious to the need to let customers through. There were no shallow trolleys available at 9:30- a group of them was far away from the store entrance and chained up. Two people had to physically prize two trolleys to get one in an Afro of heroic teamwork. The runways up to the store always seem to be out of order and although staff are friendly, this store needs a bit more effort to make it a really satisfying shopping experience.

Looks like it's closing down. Toilets in a state, travelators have been broken for months, a main exit shuttered off so have to walk long way round. Fresh food counters all boarded up. Presumably Tesco management have given up on this place?

Tesco Walkden..wow, the largest in Europe, well size isn't everything. Trying to find a helpful staff member is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Still no Greggs after being advertised at Christmas. Well they have to fill the vast spaces up with something arr yes like having a Homebase. Don't bother trying to use a scan as you shop after 9.30pm, the largest Tesco in Europe doesn't have enough customers to warrant having it available at that time nor does it have the funds to repair the broken escalators! Save up the pennies Tesco..Every little helps.

This is known as the largest Tesco in UK. The lanes are so wide to include three or four trolleys. The great thing is to have Homebase section for large furnitures. It seems to me that, to make use of the massive space, there should have been much large ranges of goods than typical Tesco Extra.
