Worked here and wasn't the most pleasant place to work, didn't get invited on summer ball when on maternity and then ironically on my return got asked to do online training about equality and diversity. Managers huddled round chatting and nominate call centre staff to pretend to be a manager when calling customers back. It was the blind leading the blind. This was my experience over 10 yrs ago hopefully its changed now.

This should be zero stars but one star is the lowest I can give. Non-existent customer service, and their online banking and apps are totally unfit for purpose. If you like high blood pressure and banging your head against a brick wall for hours, then open a bank account with Co-Op. Otherwise avoid at all costs.Image: A Co-Op Bank customer earlier today.

I have been a member of the co-op Bank for over sixty years. They have looked after me and my account with a firm handI do not need to worry about any scams or unusual happenings as the bank is always on the ball.I would like to say a special thanks to Samantha at Manchester for her patience and expert Pl. I can't express my thanks to the bank enough. After being retired for 25yrs I will never forget my working days with the co-operative bank. Keep up the good work for my grandchildren.

Been with this bank 14 years, I opened 2 extra savings accounts for my children and now there closing my account for fraud. I am disgusted, my account is always in credit and only used for direct debits, I got confirmation of 1st additional account being opened, the next day could not log in to my account, rang them all the person on the phone could tell me is that it was due to fraud. Fraud for opening a savings account? Is this a joke! I will be in the bank on my return to the UK this is an absolute disgrace

On the phone with coop bank today, so disappointed, for a bank that claims to be ethical the customer service is dismal. Trying to support my elderly parents with their banking but their processes do not allow this.

No idea who some of these people have been speaking to re: customer service, but I've been with co-op for over 10 years and they've been nothing but friendly & helpful with me. Couple of times I've had to wait around 20-30 minutes to get through at peak hours, but that pretty normal going for anywhere isn't it? Outside of those times I'm always through to someone within 5 minutes if that.

Trying to report a suspected fraudulent transaction on our account, but it's impossible to do so. Called the fraud number which has charges up to 40p/min with hour plus wait times - that's up to £24 just to get to speak to somebody. Facebook IM is just a bot which directs you to the livechat facility on their website, which does not exist. Absolutely ridiculous.

Left previous job after getting offer from coop bank for cash office as had previous cash office experience, on first day the manager tried to put me on the floor role and I explained that is not what I applied for. Put me in the cash office, supervisor selected another girl who showed interest of working here, the manager used me for a week until that new girl could start and on friday got the agency to call and do not go back into work on monday with no reason why not to go (think it was my skin colour) back. They did not have the decency to tell me at the work place they all knew what was going on that's why a older female colleague cashed up at the end of the day for me instead of letting me do it she felt bad even though it was not her doing. The branch manager her head is too stuck somewhere and did not like me from the start. Awful place to work. Do not leave your job for this place. Please note this was in 2014 the manager from 2014!

This bank is useless! Such poor communication via phone and online. Rubbish is too good for it.

The most incompetent organisation I have ever dealt with. On every level.

Answering the 'phone would be a good start. How are we supposed to contact you about fraud?

Shocking Bank, stay well away.Antiquated systems and arrogant staff. Banked with them since 2012 and the customer service has got worse year on year, add to this old systems and huge wait times if you try to call them.If asked I would advise anyone to use another bank, the Co Op has had its time and is stuck in the dark ages.
