Actually a good hotel in a great location however the food is very bad! So the burger is actually after I asked them to add more dressing! Really dry & no flavour! And you only get a few onion rings for £3.80 total extortion, had to ask twice for our dessert, it came over an hour after ordering! We stay here every time we come to Manchester but have never eaten here & we never will again! The staff are lovely, it's just the food that has disappointed me ?

We had a small room, but it was clean and well kept, as was the rest of the hotel. Manchester central arena Travelodge is ideally placed being very close to the arena and a short walk from the city centre passing by a beautiful cathedral on the way. The staff were wonderful from the start. We would definitely visit this hotel again.Rooms: Our room was small but was everything we needed.Nearby activities: We attended the arena nearby. The city center is packed with shops, restaurants, bars, museums, great architecture and music. There was a fabulous silent disco tour which was fun to see.Safety: We felt very safe at the hotel, I was even surprised that after the concert they had security at the front entrance to check that everyone entering was meant to be there. There were people trying to get in but were stopped by security.Walkability: This hotel is minutes from Victoria train station and only ten minutes away from the city centre if you are walking with someone with little legs. There is some construction going on in the area but the safety of pedestrians has been well taken care ofFood & drinks: Good food at the hotel, with great service but so much choice in the city centre too. Absolutely spoilt for choice.

This hotel is perfect for the arena, shops, and many transport links. Sadly, many things in our room didn't work. The room itself was very clean and tidy. Very comfortable beds.

Use this Travelodge multiple times a year for work trips usually in a group booking but occasionally alone. Its in a great location and has it's own car park. Beware though, it becomes full quickly at weekends and can be tight for bigger vehicles! Other than that, cant fault it! The bar is open late, breakfast is always decent and the staff are lovely. Michael was a diamond this morning at brekkie!Food & drinks: Good breakfast, late night bar!

Great location for the Arena and Manchester centre. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast decent for the price and plenty of choice. Room clean and has everything required for a short stay. Window was a bit stiff to close fully and even when closed didn?t seem to seal fully . Only real downside was how noisy the hotel was and the noise from outside overnight. Would stay again for an event at arena.

DO NOT STAY THERE! Worst experience ever! Staff and management are rude, impolite and harassing guests.

When trying to book the room on the Travelodge website, I kept getting sent back pages and getting pages that said the website was down. When I finally booked the room, everything was fine, until I arrived at the hotel. Something had happened in the system and the dates for my stay had changed. I had no room, unless I wanted to pay 5x the price. They also couldn't offer a refund.I didn't get my room until the next day. I don't think the room was actually fully cleaned. There was a big wet spot on the floor and hair on the shower walls.Wifi is not part of your booking. You're charged an additional £3 per 24 hours. That was fine. But what they don't tell you is you get the absolute slowest speeds, so you can't do anything on the wifi. I work remote and was supposed to be working while I was here, but at 5mps download speeds, I couldn't get do anything.Usually Travelodge is a pretty reliable option for hotels, but this one was horrible. Great location, but that's really it.
