One of the lesser quality travel lodges. Seems a little dated. Bathtub had some weird stains (see vid). Room was fine. Bed comfy. Did the job.

The hotel is in a handy location with safe and decent parking for both the city centre and velodrome. The place itself has seen better days and is possibly getting ready for a refurb, but was clean and tidy and moist things worked other than the TV remote which was temperamental. There is a good bus service into the city. We did not eat in the hotel by choice so can't comment on that. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay there again because the location is very handy for us.

I only stayed here for one night but that was more than enough. It was a very basic hotel the location was a 20 minute bus ride out of the city centre and in the middle of a housing estate but there was a shopping centre near by which was a lifesaver because I didn't order breakfast or dinner from the hotel. The service was ok, there was only one person at the desk I didn't see anyone else the next day up until I checked out either. There were a few things that could be improved in the building such as the maintenance of the furniture and equipment in the rooms also the cleanliness of the rooms. I have stayed in a better Travelodge that was more upgraded so I was quite surprised at how basic this was. The room price was the only reason why I chose to stay here but they catch you with the extras you have to add on such as parking, WIFI, food, check out time. The good things were that they provided extra pillows in the room, there was heating and the bed sheets were clean but the bed was hard to sleep on.I don't think I would choose this hotel as a 1st option again only as a last minute for what I experienced.

Faintly handy for Etihad Stadium but the night we were there it was tossing it down and we got very wet going to the stadium!

Noteworthy details: It's a very old build lodge compared to most of the new ones that you might find in bolton or blackpool. Was feeling kinda spooky, and top of all, there was no elevator.

I recently stayed at this hotel for business. The room was rather gloomy with a single light bulb at the door for the entire room. Speaking of single things, plugs. There was only one usable plug in the entire room and it wasn?t near the bed so listening to my podcast and charging my phone was annoying. The bathroom had a smell of silicon and bleach, but was otherwise alright. The parking is a real ache, the parking machine doesn?t take amex and doesn?t accept coins either. Had to borrow someone?s Mastercard to pay for parkingRooms: Dingy but the bed and duvet were good quality. Room was a little cold howeverWalkability: 30 minute walk in to Manchester City centre, or there?s a bus stop 2 minute walk which takes about 20 minutes and cost £2Noteworthy details: Single plug in the bedroom.

After a 3 hour drive, turned up and had to pay £4 parking( unless you Google, you'll not know) ....rooms are clean and tidy, location not good as I found when the menu was limited because of ingredient problems and found that you had to walk 15-20 mins to a takeaway(unless you order on just eat) ....but I can't fault the 2, only 2 girls that were on duty for the help they provided for my stay but it's a sad site seeing 1 of them ironing bedding behind reception area because others don't/won't do it ...thank you ladies, hats off to yousRooms: Clean and tidyNearby activities: None, unless you're prepared to walk or get a taxiWalkability: To far if you want a restaurant after a long journey, and very busy roadsFood & drinks: Food limited (just for my stay may I add), but I'm easy going...no draught only bottlesNoteworthy details: If you work for BCA as I do... ideal location

Walls were paper thin. Hallways stunk of weed, cracks and marks on walls and shelfs. Toilets stunk of bleach and poo. No lifts and no sercurity near rooms. There was mould in the bath tub. lights flickering tv had a line through the screen. Everyone on the floor was loud at all hours. Reception is unstaffed most of the time. Rooms were tiny and didn't have air conditioning and was very cold.
