Very rude staff I mean u can help with a smile early in the morning. There is no fee from being friendly and nice to everyone.

Very bad service unfortunately. We purchased an O2 sim, after we tried to install it in our phones both did not work. The lady at the counter informed us that she cannot help with those issues, after we went to an 02 store they informed us that we were sold a faulty sim. This is very bad customer service for for 02 and for WH Smith honestly.

Rude staff that won?t allow you to use their waste bins for empty products bought in their store.

The overzealous security guard following me round the store and making me feel like a criminal will stop me visiting ever again. I wouldn't mind but I spent 50 quid in there.

Lovely woman called Elle helped me and my kids understand the card selection as the price on card was wrong so her customer service was amazing and ever helpful and friendly but WHSmith your self need look what your selling the card say 7.99 on back of them but yet not the right price there a lot lower so it a negative and made me second guess if I should but thankfully Elle saved the day

Great service from friendly staff. Price is very low as compared to the market. Recommended! As with all other WH Smith shop is the best. It's ok to grab a newspaper and a snack for a train journey.

Ok to grab a paper or magazine for the train, but the choice is limited for most things, the shop feels a little disjointed, and it can sometimes take a while to pay (even with the machines in operation)

WHSmith at Manchester Piccadilly is a pretty good branch, especially for a travel store, the prices might be really high, to the point I can't understand why as there are multiple rivals nearby selling many of their items or similar items for less, but they do have a pretty good selection if you're in a rush, ahead of getting a train.I do like the special events they seem to have on here, they sell Airpods and more recently they brought the Carabao Cup here ahead of 2020, giving supporters the chance to get a selfie with the trophy, this was a pretty cool experience to lift the trophy right before Manchester City defeated Aston Villa to retain the trophy for the third year in a row at Wembley back in 2020. (This was an experience offered by Carabao as part of their trophy store, but it is nice to see the store arranging experiences like that)They do also sell the IRN-BRU Energy drink range here, they are one of the few stores outside of Scotland to do so, I think it tastes terrible and at 2.5x the price of Carabao, it isn't worth it, but if you do love IRN-Bru, you'll probably like it.4* - For a travel location, this branch of WHSmith is good, although I do prefer grabbing my drinks and travel stuff from the Co-Op just outside the station as the store looks a little better inside and is much cheaper.

Goede supermarkt voor op een station met ruime keus producten. Ook veel typische producten uit de UK die je nog snel kan halen voordat je weer vertrekt naar huis :)

I have a newspaper subscription and pay for my morning copies of The I with vouchers. The self service machines never accept them so need to always be verified by staff which are never present. A simple voucher for newspaper transaction takes several minutes. That said, the staff on the manned till tend to be helpful and pleasant during the cold early hours.

As with all other WH Smith shops these days, this place feels a mess. It's ok to grab a newspaper and a snack for a train journey, but it's a bit scruffy inside, and the staff are very slow at putting stock out. The whole chain needs some TLC, and fast.
