Great pasties! Martin's reminds me of how pasty shops used to be. So much better than Greggs and they actually keep their pasties hot. I'd 100% recommend the steak pasty!

Martins has gone from strength to strength over the pandemic. The sandwiches are great, the fresh bread Is superb, and the fresh stuff like the bacon and sausages are top notch. The staff are brilliant, can?t fault the place at all.

Service was good but the pasties were like the cardboard you get in the bottom of a pizza box. I got 2 of them a veggie curry and a Jamaican one and they tasted the same unfortunately just a different shape. I?ve given it 2 out of five because the server was polite

Can anyone triumph in the face of Gregg's? Well, Martin seems to be giving it a go. There are a few of his Swiss Confectioners around Manchester - I'm not sure what exactly is Swiss about them to be honest but aren't you a little intrigued about Martin? They had ran out of jam donuts which was a big disappointment but I consoled myself with a Bakewell Tart. The little desserts on their bottom shelf may not look as good as their Mr. Kipling or Krispy Kreme counterparts but I can vouch for the taste. Otherwise, they sold snacks, sandwiches, drinks and delicious looking bread. My boyfriend used to work in a bakery and has impressed upon me the difference in the taste between this and supermarket fare. I will never stray from my sacred White (loaf) though. None of this granary, seeds and nuts business. There will be an update to this review if details ever come to light about Martin - shocking or otherwise ...
