Lots of choice spread over 2 floors so does not feel cramped. Just always seems to take ages at checkout even when not over busy.

Great shop, great products and good value. I was met though by a miserable, uninterested member of staff at the till. No eye contact, no hello, left me standing there waiting while they got a barcode (fine, a barcode was needed but a smile and a "sorry for the wait' would have been nice!). You're in a customer service job. At least look like you are happy in your job! So a good experience up to the point of payment sadly.

Went in for Christmas decorations (tree ornaments & lights. So much to choose from you come away with more than expected. We've bought manybitens from the Range before, from chairs, wallpaper, pet food etc.

Store had been rehashed since my last visit, struggled to find craft things I was looking for. Craft now upstairs, couldn't find a lift, no staff about to ask.

Haven't been here for years, forgotten how good it was, went looking for a fibre optic Christmas tree, but the one we wanted was only online, aided by a lovely lady called Fay who not only found it for us, but also helped us order it. Great experience.

Be careful of being overcharged at the till. Bought a couple of items, one was from a box priced at £1.69. Checked that it was the correct item. At the till it came up at £1.99, when I queried it the cashier said they repriced everything 2 days ago and they only charge what the computer shows. Asked for someone to check the price but again I had it explained they charge what the computer shows. She needed a supervisor to remove the item. I explained what had happened and she just shrugged. Not a good customer experience. Be careful.

Yuk. Used to enjoy going to The Range as it was well laid out with items in each section well presented. My visit on Sat 14.10.23 however has put me completely off! Overstuffed with too much stuff of not enough quality. Left without buying one item. A first. Won't be returning anytime soon.

Brilliant huge store, with everything you can think of, it has 2 floors full and it's prices are very reasonable too. I would definitely recommend it.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU PURCHASE ANYTHING - ESPECIALLY FOR XMAS.The Range only gives 14 days on exchanges or refunds even if the product is unopened or undamaged.So if it's the wrong size and you have purchased for a friend or family member you lumped with it. My son recently moved home, so I purchased a blind for his front room "really nice one" I then went on holiday, I returned home and my son said Can you exchange it for a different size, Of course, I thought No problem, comes from an established reputable business. But No not at Range they don't exchange, they don't offer store credit, and they don't give refunds after 14 days. I've challenged this via complaints who have responded the same as in-store, So please advance warning Do not purchase anything from here especially if you are purchasing it as a gift for someone. I thought this was against your consumer and statutory rights but I'm advised by The Range this is not so.

I recently had a disappointing experience at Range store. While shopping, I noticed a clear shelf label indicating a promotion for '2 products at a lower price.' However, when I went to the cashier, she failed to apply the discount, despite the obvious signage. When I politely pointed it out, she insinuated that I was trying to fraudulently save £2.50. This was a frustrating and unprofessional encounter, and it left a negative impression on my shopping experience. I hope the store can improve its customer service and ensure that promotions are honored as advertised.

In all honesty I prefer other range stores to this one. It always feels abit run down and smells funny or maybe it's just me. The staff always seem distracted and never a smile. 9 times out of 10 I can get what I want but the lift goes so slow to go up a level I thought we were stuck. The Christmas selection is always good but the parking is free so I visit more for convenience really.
