rang up a couple of times and no answer, just needed to know if they had a prescription ready, so then I had to come down and stood there waiting for atleast 10 minutes, to be told that they didn?t have to the prescription however when the doctors messaged saying it was there, so I asked them to check again and didn?t come back for another 5 and took someone else?s prescription, waiting for another 5 for a pharmacist assistant to tell me I had to wait 20 minutes for it to be ready, when I had been waiting for over 20 minutes already, because they couldn?t find the prescription

Pizza counter service is awful. Bout bother to order a pizza to make. It won't be ready on time and a staff member will be nowhere to find. Not work of a £3.50 price tag

this store is the most disability unfriendly place I've ever had the misfortune to encounter. the escalators have been out of service for years, and it's rumoured the store will close in a year or so, so they don't care. the main lift is regularly out of order, making it inaccessible to the elderly and disabled. I'm told there is a lift from the car park but you need to go up steps to get to it, so not accessible. If you do actually manage to access the store, barriers and shelving force you to walk a long, unwanted path to get to a shelf that would otherwise be directly ahead, and you pretty much have to walk the entire store in order to check out. I hate this store with a passion, but it's all that's left in the town centre and not everyone is able to walk up the hill to Aldi

I was refused sale of a drug that is cheaper to be purchased over the counter than via prescription on the basis 'we keep these for people with a prescription'. Profit more important than patient safety clearly....

We have been going to Asda in Stockport for years and my wife of forty four years old couldn't get served for alcohol because of 'Challenge 25"! So I said 'I want to speak to a manager", the manager Rob said he couldn't over rule a colleagues decision even though he was her boss and after both us having shown him our wedding rings and explaining that we have to be over 18 to be married. The lady at customer service refused wouldn't take the complaint and the security guard was threatening. On the whole a horrendous experience with regards to customer service and I ended up getting barred even after I explained I have a disability that affects my ability to communicate.

Awful, had a message from drs saying prescription sent Monday, went Tuesday and they could only find part of my prescription. Told to come back Friday. Came back as requested to be told the part of the prescription I was missing on the Tuesday was dispensed Monday. Couldn?t say who too. Tried to locate missing items on Friday, was told to ring 111 to replace. The pharmacist actually said ?if you don?t like the service you can find a more competent pharmacy in future?!!! Unreal, left without meds and some random person with my prescription containing my name dob and address amongst other details

ASDA on Warren Street is one of three major supermarkets (soon to be two in February 2021 when Sainsbury's closes) in Stockport town centre, alongside Sainsbury's (across the way) and Tesco (2-3 minute walk away, close to the Peel Centre). It is my least favourite of the three supermarkets, despite being larger than Sainsbury's across the way, as they regularly seem to run out of many items. Due to COVID-19, the main entrance to the store is through what originally looks like a service entrance, as you go up a long, winding ramp into the main store, sadly the lifts and staircase aren't being used which is a shame, as I found it much simple/easier to get into the store, and the current area they use doesn't seem too welcoming/clean. The selection is generally OK, but there were many products I had to go to one of the other two supermarkets nearby for. They do have the handheld scanners / mobile scanning, which makes the shopping experience much easier, but both supermarkets nearby have this anyway, excluding Tesco who only have the handheld scanners. 3* - Decent store but struggles to match the competition nearby. Much better and nicer ASDA stores out there for sure.
