Stephen was so helpful with a problem getting a credit card statement over 6 months ago not available o line he printed it off for me and answered a couple mor questions ,superb customer service and a valued staff member

Staff are really friendly and welcoming, my youngest in Autistic and sometimes can be a battle to have to wait in the que however the staff are so friendly. One member of staff(sorry forgot her name) gave her a piece of paper and the stamp to keep her occupied why I got sorted. Actually amazing to see staff go out their way to help put a smile on everyone?s face. P.s she is going to expect it every time now ?

Having banked with Lloyds in Stockport for 43 years, I now find they offer no service to customers whatsoever. Being an elderly lady and not wanting to use machines, yesterday I was informed that paying cheques in at the counter is no longer available and the only alternative is the do it yourself machine. The counter is now for cash payments only and all other services have been withdrawn. I want face to face service, not a machine. I will never go into this bank again.

It doesn't even deserve a one star!I needed to open my daughter a junior isa, I filled it out online and had to go to branch with ID. My daughter has additional needs, when I got to the bank I explained this and asked could I let her wait outside and for me to complete setting the account up. I was told yes. I waited for 15 minutes and was told the reference number for my online application wasnt working and could I come upstairs to do the application from scratch. The lady started and i had to watch videos only for her to get to a point and say oh your daughter does need to be here and you will have to watch the videos all over again. So I had to call her in which was very difficult for her to do. She watched the videos and answered questions bearing in mind I'd been there now for 45 mins only to be told all the ID I had brought wasn't actually good enough amd they needed her blue badge which was in the car. I was less than impressed! I was told that's all they needed if I bring in it, it can then be sorted.2 days later which is today I took the blue badge in with my daughter again who was highly anxious about the whole thing only to be told infact they needed proof of address and nothing I had was ok even though the lady yesterday ticked the box and said it was all fine! Are you joking! So I still couldn't open a junior isa. The staff are all saying different things, they don't seen competent in their jobs and are wasting peoples time even more so when I told them about my daughters extra needs, I am furious and will be making a complaint and I've opened an isa with the Halifax which had no problem with the ID I had. Avoid at all costs! I will be making a formal complaint.

Absolute waste of time. I don't actually understand what branches are even for anymore, because if their not trying to direct you to a machine when you've explained you'd rather do something face to face with a person, they then tell you actually sorry we cant do that in branch you have to call this number that's off-shore who haven't got a clue what you're asking for. If you're just going to re-direct everyone to a number where you end up waiting over 90+ minutes to get through to someone, then get rid of useless branches like Stockport. Gone the days when people actually gave good service and wanted to help others.
