Had a leak in our downstairs bathroom, Phil came out and solved the issue quickly. Would recommend him if you're having any plumbing issues and he really put our minds at ease, very knowledgeable and a lovely man.

Phil came out today following no hot water nor heating. Was referred to me by my home emergency insurer. Great guy, friendly professional and a pleasure to deal.

Phil came out in early Feb on an emergency call-out via my insurance company due to drilling through a water pipe.Phil arrived within a couple of hours of the job being sent through to him which I was hugely grateful for. Phil immediately got to work fixing the issue for me and was very thorough in doing so.After repairing the leak and after I had patched up the wall, I noticed that there was still some damp showing through. After some further inspection over the coming weeks, it appeared that the pipe was still weeping slightly.I contacted Phil again today to see if he could come back out and take a look. Phil was more than happy to do this, and arrived again within a couple of hours of first contacting him. He got straight to work diagnosing the issue and put a brand new fitting on the repair, being very thorough to ensure there was no further weeping.Phil has been nothing but professional, thorough, prompt and friendly. He?s a great bloke and I wouldn?t hesitate in using his services again. Thanks Phil.Service: Leak investigation and repair

It took months for a boiler to be fitted and then weeks for the boiler installation to be installed as PER REGULATIONS. I wouldn't have even known a shoddy job had been done until Gas Safe sent me an option of a free Gas Safe check regarding the new fitted boiler. The amount of errors the engineer picked up was ridiculous. I understand some of the were due to a company not related to Phil Yates. Even after the corrections the engineer form Phil Yates Stockport Ltd left my carpet ripped up, my plaster broken and my main gas pipe burnt, which I SPOTTED after constant smell of gas in my house! I wouldn't have left a review if it wasn't for Julia Yates trying to shift the blame of a shoddy installation. The engineer was so unprofessional and didn't know how to deal with my boiler. In the end, after paying over £600 in their costs/fees (i claimed through my insurance) they just badly fitted a new boiler. I had to specifically request a different engineer to come back and assess the burnt gas pipe and fixing of ceiling plaster. My carpet (which is new) is still ripped up. The claim went in from December 2017 to August 2018. Some of this time was a delay with my insurance but this company literally took MONTHS to fix, install then correct their installation. But i am made to feel like it is my fault. Phil Yates himself was professional when he first diagnosed the issue (which actually wasn't the fault) but left me with Julia and the engineer to get the job done and it just turned into a merry go round. In the end Phil decided a brand new boiler would be installed, i was beyond grateful (but in hindsight should i have been? The fault was never found, my old boiler was new and the cost of repairs just kept building up. In effect i paid them to try to find the fault) but the never ending installation issues are still causing problems till this day. Currently i am going to have to get the central heating system cleaned. Julia Yates refuses to acknowledge this is something they have to do. Yet, every other engineer i have had quotes from say they do this when installing a new boiler, in order to not damage the boiler warranty and the heating system itself. I suppose some companies are more ethical, competent and diligent than others. Lesson learnt!
