On Saturday morning, 18th November 2023 I had to change my car tax category class. Was served by Veronica, who helped me to do this. I am not very confident with these things. She talked me through it and I wish to thank her for her professional, friendly service. I would nit have been able to do this without her help.

I came in today 14.11.23. At 4 30 pm to Renew my driving licence and the lady on the desk was more than helpful she went above and beyond to make it easy and simple. Unfortunately I didn't catch her name but she's a credit to your Company.

I visited the branch today to renew my passport which I thought might require an appointment. The lady called Lindsey at the travel counter said she would be able to sort for me straight away. After being shown to a private room Lindsey completed my renewal with efficiency and politeness. Before I left the branch I required stamps and gift card which Lindsey sorted at her counter position for me .

Lack of information when renewing passport. Does not appear on the website either (. Due to the lack of information my day was wasted, although polite I was simply told oh the staff just forgot to tell you and you can just come back another day.It's an error on the agency and was just seen as a simple issue.But What about the time I took to travel here, to get ready in order to look good on the picture, to take the afternoon off to have a slot available?I hope this information is included and told to people that ask about renewing their passport. That if you have a double nationality you need to bring both passports, otherwise they can't renew the passport that has expired.It's problem that can be easily fixed by the agency and if not done, it causes a lot trouble for the customers.Because if you are misformed by just one thing your whole appointment and journey goes to waste.Once it's running the actual renewal service at the post office is good and quick. But that issue can ruin it.*I came several days before and the receptionist told me to only bring my expired passport. But on the actual day I went to renew my passport, I was told a different story. I also needed to bring my other passport because I have a dual nationality. I was never told this nor does it appear on the website (and it that case it does, this key information it not easily accessible nor clear enough) so my appointment was wasted.

Middle-aged, red-headed woman with a terrible attitude. Tried to ask about a letter, but wouldn't let me speak. Rolled her eyes, tutting, couldn't wait to tell me to write the address on the envelope. Great, never would have guessed that it needed that. Just wanted to ask whether it was appropriate packaging. They say they want the custom, but try speaking to people with a modicum of respect. Woman of that age should know better than to act like a teenager at their first job.Edit: the recent reviews seem to be from the post office staff. Be warned: they're largely unfriendly and rude & even if you manage to accomplish what you went in for, you'll still be bombarded - and I mean bombarded - with them trying to cram life insurance down your throat!

Make sure you support our Stockport Post office while works are going on. We love this team and are still using the Post Office Daily . Don?t be put off by renovations, they are open as normal . Team CB

Went into stockport town centre mersey square post office to post important documents a very helpful lady called Lindsay advised the best and safe way to send my documents. I would like to say thank you, I always go to this post office as they are always so helpful

Great post office,the staff are very helpful and knowledgable.I post regularly here and also use their banking services.I will pop in soon to renew my passport which is also another service they provide.

Stockport Post Office is still open for business. Access via the Adlington Walk entrance next to H Samuel due to SMBC buildings works. There is currently no access via Great Underbank Street until end of October when Adlington Walk will close.

HORRENDOUS customer service: SLUGGISH, INCONSIDERATE, UNFIENDLY, UNHELPFUL, RUDE, INEFFICIENT, and they simply WOULDN'T LISTEN to the customer.8 EMPTY teller windows, but only EVER 1-2 workers behind them at a time, to serve the people in queue - (and those 1-2 workers NEVER BOTHER to hurry).

Very weird and awkward atmosphere. As a customer, you feel like an inconvenience; the servers at the checkouts are very grumpy, patronizing and rude.
