I'm thinking of buying a new sofa to replace my existing one as its wearing out. So we went to SCS white city to browse. All we were doing was looking at styles. The moment we sat on a sofa the sales man appeared and started talking. Bit creepy in a way as he'd been watching us and made comments about it being the first sofa we had sat on. We explained we were just browsing and didn't need help and eventually he went away. As we walked about the guy followed us which I found unnerving, we went upstairs he followed, I felt uncomfortable as I like to browse in peace. The final straw came when he approached us again to tell us what he thought we should be looking at, so I walked out and will not be returning.Other sofa shops we went to, yes we were approached but the staff, after we explained we were browsing and would ask if we needed help let us browse in peace and only approached us that once and then didn't follow us around the store letting us go at our own pace and comfort without feeling intimidated, pressured and stalked.

Do not trust or buy laminate flooring from SCS. I have spoken to SCS both in store and through head office concerning a faulty design and fitting which has gone on for over a year. I have followed every step they have asked me to follow to sort out the issue. SCS have sent out their own representatives, fitters, and an independent assessor who have completed reports and have all said there is a fault with the panels. Their own customer service team have looked at the photos and said that it looks wrong.SCS however are not prepared to help out in any other way or offer any kind of refund. The worst customer support and purchase I have ever made!

Good at selling furniture but very poor with aftercare service. Not interested when something goes wrong. Would never buy anything from SCS

Brilliant service from here for the 2nd time in the last few months and a breath of fresh air compared to other brands.We were served by Phil both times who is probably the only sales person I've ever dealt with who has the perfect balance between being professional and personable. Nothing was too much bother for him and he went above and beyond to make sure our measurements were accurate, that we were ordering something we would really love and helped us with a finance term that suited our monthly budget. Completely different to our experience at DFS which was less than pleasant.We highly recommend SCS for a friendly and pleasant buying experience.

Just ordered our new sofa with the help of janine,very helpful young lady. All staff were very friendly who we spoke to even helped us when the store had actually closed.Very pleased with the order and cant wait to sit on our new sofa.

There is a reasonable amount of stock, not as cheap as some other shops, only found out when completing the order, there is a £99 standard delivery charge on top of the cost of the items.They did have two nice Lazy Boy 2 seater but at costs of £1700 and £2100 .Worth a visit to have a look around.

Terrible! We settled on a sofa and started to go through the sales process with a male salesman. The member of staff could not answer most of our questions regarding the number of cushions and which fabrics we could mix which didn't fill us with much confidence.When it came to the optional 3 year protection at almost £300 we told him that we didn't want that as we always look after furniture.He would not take no for an answer and kept saying "it's up to you but...".After 3 times of me saying "No" he still wouldn't give up and he appeared to be frustrated with that answer. I then lost patience and decided to take my money elsewhere so I stood up with my partner and told him that we would go to Oak Furniture Land and buy a similar but much better sofa.Well done SCS, you lost a substantial sale because of your pushy sales tactics. I don't buy under pressure and yes, it is up to me if I don't want something!

Charged an awful lot of money for what was received. Spent £150+ on new carpet grippers and they?ve used the old ones and not told us, what a rip off. Also didn?t put the door bars down we paid for and we?re currently trying to have them fitted. Also, the carpet is bumpy and isn?t fitted properly. They tried adding £240 to an order placed also so had to cancel that. Can?t talk to a manager to discuss the issues and staff don?t seem to care as they don?t acknowledge your situation. 1000% wouldn?t use again and I?d avoid like the plague if I was you.Update - They?re generic reply is laughable, considering I?ve already spent the morning on the phone trying to sort these issues and been told the matter can?t be taken to a manager and nobody will assist further. Additionally, you don?t normally provide 5* service, read your reviews!? Shocking. Guarantee there is no follow up and they?ve posted that reply to make it look to new prospective buyers like they?re sorting the issue. Abysmal.

Greeted by happy and knowledgeable staff. We were allowed to look around. Staff showed us some great samples with great quotes inside our limits. We recommend the Manchester ScS.

Poor service from here. Placed an order from here for some carpets and they gave me wrong information and I ended up paying an extra £366. Absolute joke. And the carpet fitters they use are cowboys also. Not good fitting at all. Stay away from here.
