The message said, the glasses is ready and please ring to book an appointment. Tried soo many times, and hold for 15mins. No answer. Such a bad customer service. The initial eye test was delayed, took ages to get the payment thru once we choose the frames despite all payment details. We were there for 2.5hours in the end. Different and better service in Specsaver when one of our family members got her glasses recently. Definitely will avoid this store in the future.

Horrible place. 2nd time doing my glasses with them and 2nd there is problem ! I asked the member of staff who was selling me glasses of the lenses will look thick he said no and when I collected today they look horrible! Never saw that thick lenses in my life. I will ask about money back and I will go somewhere else. Just save your time and don?t go to this shop. People working on front are super unprofessional as well!

FYI for those thinking of coming here? Disgusting behaviour by two female staff members around 4pm on 23rd September while I was attempting to book an appointment. This needs to be investigated throughly because nobody should be made to feel unwelcome by having store staff laugh at clients. Both women were wearing a hijab and I asked as to why they were laughing at me at which point they immediately went quiet.A horrible experience - I?d strongly suggest going elsewhere, not only in terms of vision express branches but an entirely different opticians because clearly this kind of behaviour seems to be acceptable.

This is the most horrible place to be in this country. Don?t even dare. I paid for one glasses (£280) I wanted high specification. These people delayed the glasses for almost a month. They said Delivery service misplaced the first glasses. The delivered another one. The new pair was Very frail and damaged. I had to return it. After 2 weeks they said another one is ready, I jumped on the bus for over 1hr 17 minutes. I got there and they told me sorry we don?t have your glasses. Meanwhile they messaged me to come pick it up. Okay, refund me, they said sorry you can?t get full refund. Bla bla bla. I?m so disgusted and disappointed. This is the most unprofessional, problematic shop I?ve ever been to. They all look confused. I rang customer care 7 times. They would tell me please stay on hold. 30 minutes later they will hang up. This store should be closed by all means necessary.

This is the second time I have had the most horrible experience as a customer. in 2021 I came for first time to change my glasses and I got sold varifocal glasses, nearly 3 times more expensive that the standard glasses £315.50, and it was using my own frames. After 2-3 weeks I returned asking to change it as the varifocal make my vision tired as there is not focus on the both sides' vision. Now this Saturday 2nd september 2023 I came for test and glasses change again. There was a young lady that wasted my time for 3 hours as she forgot the password in the system, then changed the prices of the chosen frames twice she changed the price (writing with a pen) from £85 to £99 on the product?s tag, at the end I have accepted to go with one frame for £85 and the second one for £99. As she had problems in the system and could not complete my credit pass, then I accept to pay all the money for the first frame and eye test and the lady said that the price of the frame is £99. Off course I paid just the test and left the place. Very disappointed as Vision Express do not care about the client.

Had a really easy experience and whilst sorting out an extra pair and an eye test, Sadaf was absolutely lovely!She went beyond to help with not only the glasses but the cost and was very clear and consistent!! Thank you Sadaf!!

Honestly, don't waste your time. Poor service, mistakes made in ordering which included taking down contact details incorrectly, lead time of just shy of a month despite stated timescale, admission(s) of fault and kind words but zero action or initiative to rectify mistakes.Optical Express are just down the road: do yourself a favour and see them instead.

I broke my glasses in the morning and did not have contact lenses. I needed to replace my glasses urgently. I went to the Vision Express Trafford centre in Manchester. Mr Zahid is the main reason why I'm leaving a review! He is fantastic in terms of customer service support. While waiting at the reception, he approached me, and I briefly explained my issue. He listen to me , answered any questions I had and offered to even book me in for a lenses appointment. This guy is just brilliant ! I hope the company appreciates him!

I had a negative experience at the Vision Express store located in Trafford. I had placed an order for sunglasses with an expected delivery time of two weeks. However, after just one week, I received a rude phone call from the store. The person(M) on the call insisted that I either come to the store to pick up the order or pay an additional £30 for delivery. I explained to her that during the purchase, I had requested delivery to my address, and it was not my responsibility to pay for delivery now. She assured me that I would receive the order the following week.Unfortunately, after three weeks had passed, I visited the store to inquire about my order. To my dismay, I discovered that my order had not been sent out. I requested to speak with the manager(H), who was aware of the issue, but did not offer any apologies for the inconvenience caused. So,I dont except this situation.

Clean area to wait, rooms are small but fully set up for testing. Contact lenses reasonable but postage has been a pain and not always sent on time.
