The rooms are not soundproof andn everything can be heard, especially if on the ground floor from above. The guests are usually coming back drunk from the bar next door and let in to disturb other people sleeping, breakfast is awful and served in a bag..Rooms: Not quiet, even the heating makes awful noises that bother when it switches on/off. The bed squeak as if they were old metal frames.Food & drinks: Brwakfast is very poor so don't be fooled by the 'breakfast included'...

Rooms: Clean rooms .beds ok . Everything thing you need is in room. If you run out of tea coffee milk sugar. You can go help yourself to more.

Travelled with my partner and our 13-month-old daughter. The hotel was alright, but considering the cost and location, I expected a bit more. It was reasonably clean, giving me enough confidence to let my daughter crawl around without too much worry. However, the worn-out furniture and walls gave a dirty feeling but after wiping the surfaces and little to no dirt showing, I was a little more confident.Breakfast was a bit of a let down. My bad for assuming it would be a full English or something similar, like in other chain hotels. It wasn't the worst breakfast, but the "breakfast included" tag raised expectations. There was no clarification during booking, so I've shared a pic of the menu for anyone interested. The restaurant in the images isn't the hotel's; it's next door, and though the hotel offers a discount, it's not included. We had options 1 and 4, and our little one settled for buttered toast. Surprisingly, the sausages and bacon were good, and my partner thought they might be Richmond vegetarian sausages in hers. Don't expect much regarding breakfast when booking here. The wall-mounted hairdryer was barely hanging on, falling off with a simple touch, which happened multiple times during the night. I could also hear every footstep from the person upstairs, luckily not bothering my daughter's sleep but annoying for my partner and I. On a positive note, the free travel cot provided was clean and sturdy and the customer service was splendid.Considering the price and distance from the centre of Manchester, the hotel could offer better facilities. A strong suggestion though is to remove the restaurant images (as it's not technically part of the hotel) or clarify that breakfast is more of a "grab and go" (on the Expedia site that is, I've seen that their official website states it is a grab and go breakfast) than a restaurant-style experience. All food situations for that matter, much more detail and clarification could be provided on Expedia, which is where I booked.Rooms: The hotel room for my partner, our 13-month-old daughter, and I was decent but fell short of expectations given the price and location. While it was relatively clean, the tired furniture and walls gave it a somewhat unclean vibe. Despite this, it was clean enough to allow our daughter to crawl on the floor with confidence.

This place is unaccommodating, they are not useful or helpful in any way. I arrived early, they would not give me any early check in at all. There is no late check out at all. Their rooms are very old and uncomfortable. Everything is old in hotel. The reception is terrible, they don?t help you. Their phones dont call down at all, so you would have to walk down. I wanted a twin bed instead they gave me to single beds. When I booked from Expedia it says 2 twin beds but these are singles. Because they have no phone to call down I just was figuring everything out and didn?t go down for just an hour then they said they wouldn?t switch my room. I have never heard of anything like it. This hotel is very bad and I don?t recommend anyone staying here.

Hotel is so old. The toilet doesn?t work properly; handle has to be pressed 7-8 times for flushing. They use physical key, without a 2nd lock available, feeling like anyone can easily break in. There?s no outlet near the bed. The bed light and room light are controlled by the same switch with another switch doing nothing, likely due to improper wiring.Food & drinks: The restaurant connected to it is pretty nice.

The room was as expected for a budget-type of hotel. It's all very straightforward. Good car parking, and an internal connecting door to the most splendid restaurant next door.In terms of location, this is on the main East Lancs Road (A580). If that's where you want to be, it's an ideal location. But check out the map to see how little else there is in this particular suburb. The Hello Hotel has no catering but a strange idea of a grab-and-go takeaway breakfast that has to be ordered in advance and can only be collected between 7-9 am, which we could not manage, due to our travelling arrangements. But it sounded quite unappetising, so it was no loss.Apart from one person on the desk, we never came into contact with anyone else who worked there, so this also made it somewhat similar to Travelodge. In other words, cheap'n'cheerful!

For the price, I think this a very good budget option for a trip to Manchester. 2 bus stops are located outside the hotel (one in both directions) which meant getting into the city centre was very convenient. The only drawback for our stay was the beds were extremely firm, but this is a personal choice to have a softer mattress.Overall though, enjoyed our stay here.

If you want a noisy outdated room with a poor breakfast, then this is for you.
