Overall a good Pharmacy

An utter shower of s**t, this place.I had my prescription sent here from home 120 miles away, over a week ago. Today they still haven't ordered the non stock items.The pharmacist on duty was quite happy to send a type 1 diabetic away with no means of blood sugar monitoring and no sight of when it would be in.But of course it was my fault for not ordering the prescription early enough. 5 working days clearly isn't enough for them!The Well network have been cutting back on staff and stock. They are rotating staff around the pharmacies. So staff you see one day are not there when you return to find your items are not in and some other poor sap has to deal with the fallout.NOT RECOMMENDED.

It seems Well have been cutting back on both staff and stock. Timperley pharmacy had my long distance (I live in the Midlands) prescription for 5 working days and they STILL have not ordered the non stock items. this is despite phoning on day 3 and visiting on day 4.
It seems staff are rotated around the pharmacies in an effort to mask staff shortages. The pharmacist on duty today was rude, constantly talking over me and not listening and quite happy to send a t1 diabetic home with no means of monitoring blood sugars and no sight of when to expect the 'gear' to be available. He even refused to phone the supplier! Just didn't care because it's not "his patch".
He even tried to tell me "no one round here stocks the Libre because they are expensive". Well, I left and walked 75m to Late Night and guess what? They stock the Libre and Libre 2. And, yes, I know they are expensive, but that's no excuse for rudeness, not caring and seemingly incompetent.
When I'm away from home in the future, I WILL NOT be using Well.

On the last three occasions I have visited this pharmacy the guy in there has questioned me about collecting my prescription too early. On the last occasion my repeat prescription included important changes in the dosages which my doctor wanted me to start immediately, and I presumed that six hours would be adequate for the pharmacy to prepare it. Not the case, and I even got accused of being confrontational when I questioned him about it. Time to change my pharmacy I think.WOULD NOT RECOMEND.
