Really friendly and welcoming staff. I've never been inside a betting shop before today; but I fancied a small flutter on the Grand National. I envisioned a dark, dingy and smoky room; an image of the past that connotes the high street bookies. But those days have gone.
Barbara was really helpful. I am registered partially sighted so had trouble reading the betting slip. She asked me which horses I wanted to back and the amounts and then completed the betting slip on my behalf. This exceeded my expectations and makes me wan to return again someday. Hopefully soon if to collect winnings!
Overall, very satisfied especially with Barbara - she's an asset to the organisation and makes new customers feel at ease and I am no longer put off going inside a betting shop.
