Aweful aweful experience, we live in the area and do our weekly shop in Urmston, we have experienced this shop on numerous occasions but never one to complain, today however has been the day that tipped us over the edge. In the past like I say we have been in this shop almost every week buying cards, we have seen the manageress of this shop shout at a customer across a shop, be down right unhelpful and very rude to other customers, pull her face at the fact that a customer has only got a five or ten pound note. And I have always commented to my wife that this lady needs to be taught some manners because she clearly has none. We went in today, (this morning) as we normally do to buy cards for our family, the choice of plain happy birthday cards is poor, we have asked about this before with not much help. Having wanted to buy cards for the month we ended up only wanting to buy two cards, we que up and get served by the manageress, a tall looking oldish woman who doesnâ??t like to smile, £1.50 sheâ??s says, my wife pulls out her purse and only has a £20 note. Well itâ??s like red rag to a bull, waving her hands sheâ??s says she has no change rather rudely, then asks my wife to pay by card. My wife replies, your a shop you should have change.
Like I say, we have been in this shop almost every week since it has been open as we live in the area and I am sorry to say I would never ever recommend using it again, I guess the card factory franchise do not do customer service checks or mystery shopping on this store, because if I was a mystery shopper on the occasions I have seen this woman serve customers she would be getting a warning. She has no customer service nor manners, Shame on you and Card factory. A very poo ambassador for your company
