Nipped in for a quick carvery one evening. Very nice place, good service and although not a massive selection on the carvery it was good food which is all that matters.Good job people ?

Food was really good really enjoyed the carvery. Could throw a few different veg options as we are vegis so just had the option of veg.. Cauli cheese 'peas etc... Puddings were delish... Nice friendly service and staff nice atmosphere... Nice if going for your tea... But special occasions I think the place needs a revamp and updating.... But we like it!

Never get tired of visiting this wonderful place. Atmosphere is always good and the food is spot on every single time. The carvery is delicious. The veg are so fresh, you really can taste the difference. The meats are tasty and juicy and you get a really decent portion. Kids always eat well too.We've had family gatherings and birthday meals here and no one ever has any complaints. Staff are always helpful, attentive and accommodating especially with disabled guests.We've even taken the dog in with us recently when we decided last minute to stop for a Sunday lunch. Firm family favourite. Looking forward to next time already.Parking: Good sized car park with free parking.Kid-friendliness: Really accommodating with kids. Great kids menu and fab ice cream palour for dessertWheelchair accessibility: Have visited with a wheelchair user and have no issues what so ever. Accessible toilet, Accessible entrance and easy seating options.

Jim 1 of the chefs very helpful,always got a smile for ya.Sam ,she's mad as a box of frogs, helpful, all ways got smile for ya.I always get a large carvery, small number of veg available, just right amount of items. 3 meats.Never had a bad meal or a bad item .Parking: Parking back of pub,easy drive in.Wheelchair accessibility: Think ramp at back of pub where car park.also side entrance .

Pleasant surroundings with a good choice of drinks, alcoholic and non alcoholic. Simple three roast carvery with plenty of vegetable options. Reasonably priced. Fill your plate high.

Randomly met up with family here last minute of the motorway on boxing day. 5 of us ate and all the food was really nice and a friendly service. I had the veggie option ( was bored of eating meat over Xmas !!) And the mushroom and stilton parcel was delicious, and the fact could load up with carvery veg which was all very tasty was Fabulous, will certainly stop there if passing by that way again. Thankyou x I thought £64 for 5 adult meals and drinks was very reasonable.Parking: Plenty of parking with a terrific view !

The staff are wonderful and attentive. The service at the cavery is always perfect, and there are always roasts and veg on offer.... I've not tried any other food than the cavery, but im sure it's just as good.
