I have had a Nationwide account for over 40 years. I would not have an account anywhere else. The staff in the Alton branch are courteous and helpful and I have never had any reason to complain.

Closed my account here due to poor attitude of branch staff. No customer service.

A true example of a poorly managed high street building society branch. There's never sufficient people on the tills, they have an archaic approach to banking services requiring books and various manual processes. They also don't know how to answer their phones when they are meant to be open! Try one of the big banks, don't waste time with the Nationwide in Alton unless you are a pensioner with time on your hands to waste.
