It was great, while there I picked up a 32mmx1/2 drive socket for £2.49, sale of the century, there are loads more sizes cheap. Looks like they are getting rid of their Aussie stock cheap.

Had a query about tap washers, the chap that helped me couldn't have done more, he made sure I purchased the correct item, but feel he went above and beyond to do that. I was impressed by the quality of service from everyone that I spoke to in store. Big thumbs up for Homebase!

The staff are super friendly here and will admit when they don't have the answers/knowledge instead of just making it up. The seems to know each other well and go a d fetch someone who is likely to know. The lady who I think manages the indoor plant section is incredibly knowledgeable in her field. This please was a million times better when there was a Habitat and Argos in there though.

Had a lengthy discussion with the paint expert about weather white was white and how to paint something white.
It's not as easy a question as I had first thought but as always the staff do what they can to help.
Just wish they had better stock management sometimes and their website never tells the truth so always call if it says something is not in stock as they may actually have it.

few weeks ago I went to this store to get a new cord for my garden umbrella. I asked one of the employee to help me and he told me that I needed to buy completely new umbrella ð???. then I was looking for for new grgrass trimmer. Again I asked for help. this time another employee told me he didn't understand trimmers and asked for advice another customer who was standing next to me. after the customer replied that he was the one who worked there and he should know, it took him another 15 minutes looking at the box before he called another colleague who was able to help me ð???ð???ð???.
today I was there again for lawnmower. having 2 children 1 and 2 years who I had to take with me. unfortunately in this store they do not have trolleys for two kids this age so avoid the older one from touching everything and possible getting hurt I sat him directly to the trolley leaving me with no space. In past I asked for assistance and received great service when one of the employee helped me with everything from shelves to my car ð???.
hoped I would get same service this time I asked for help again. first I asked older lady who gave me the look like I really bothered her, then she asked another colleague to assist me who was quite helpful talking about the product but he used the moment when I lifted my son and put the box in the trolley and left.
cool... not exactly what I expected but we made it.
and on the way back home I noticed the box he put to my trolley was different lawnmower to the one which was displayed, so great, I have to go there again.
