Popped by to buy a whisky to share with family and friends over Christmas. Picked a Macallan and got a good deal in it. Checked online prices and was happy with my choice.

Great choice of wines, spirits etc. Fantastic layout/ambiance, Staff are very helpful. Prices vary greatly to cover most budgets.Why only 3 stars ? When I've asked for recommendations what I typically end up with are wines that are underwhelming taste wise and generally on the pricier side. I can't shake the feeling I'm just seen as another wine ignorant idiot to offload the wine other people won't buy on.A real shame as my annual spend is in the thousands and I'd love to have a local merchant I could rely on to point me in the right direction instead of having to do the online thing

Nice wine shop with few fancy bottles. However I did not feel that the element of customer service ( which is expected at with BBR brand ) was present during my visit.

Genuinely helpful staff with deep knowledge and enthusiasm for their craft. Great wine - obviously- plus paraphernalia. Well worth a visit.

Might not have the glamour of the St. James location but the staff here are so helpful and knowledgeable and you can at least park ?
