“This place in winklebury has been my place for any meat or eggs for quite some time now , they sell the best quality meat and there are offers on many varieties of ready to cook meat bundles which everyone coming in finds attractive , the best part is the "Support the local shops " theme which makes it more than any normal store , it's a must visit place ???”

“A huge selection of home decorations, gift ideas as well as daily essentials. The fresh produce and frozen goods are handy too, shopping under one roof. The seasonal plants are great value. The carpark is a bit tight, and you need a pound coin for a trolley. The staff are helpful and the music is suitably relaxing.”

“Would recommend a visit either first thing in the morning or later in the evening if you want shorter queues, however you may find stock maybe low in the bakery or other areas.Store could do with some self checkout till to speed up the process.”

“A small little store for quick on the go shopping. Has lots of options. Can definitely be overpriced if you leave shopping for the week a bit late. But otherwise nice for snacks, quick meals, drinks and booze.”

“Fantastic array of herbs and spices. Plenty of world foods; polish, Thai and Indian. Ask for fresh corriander, its in the fridge out the back. They also have the best spring onion!”

“I was absolutely delighted by the way I was treated at M&S Chineham. I broke down outside and was awaiting the AA. At the same time I only had a few bars on my phone so went into the store to enquire if I could borrow a phone charger. The man who I dealt with (sorry didn’t catch his name) went above and beyond to try to help me. They let me charge my phone and also let me have a cup of tea and sandwich for my 3 year old. My baby even had a banana. Well done M&S!!!!”

“Poignant and poetic but pokey. This One Stop screams Basildon but nestles itself humourously in the heart of a quaint and hospitable village. My initial thoughts? Half baked. Once I surrounded myself within its brown bricked setting, I succumbed to its convenience: bread, biscuits and milk. “I needed to use the bathroom as I have a Cant Wait card and I went to the cafe but the toilets were out of order ( they have been out of order for a long time apparently) but SHANIA was very very helpful and went out of her way to show me where the other toilets were ( again 1 wasn’t working ). She was so helpful and kind and saved me !!”

“DONT PARK IN CAR PARK FOR OVER 20 MINS. I went in yesterday to drop off parcel and was told not to park in empty car park for longer than 20mins. You can imagine my thoughts!!! However went in today for another parcel and owner happily explained Spar - not him- has put up CCTV and fines anyone over 20mins ridiculously silly sums of money and he'd come out to warn me as I sat scrolling through my phone. So I had totally misjudged him. My thoughts about Spar though not to be put in print. Have only given 4 stars as feel Spar should put bigger, far more obvious signs in car park.”

“I use this store for my hermes drop off. The staff are always helpful and service is quick! I've purchased a few bits and bobs in here. Lunch on the go is limited but its ok. Its not a huge store though so wouldn't expect them to stock everything.”

I’ve reacenley wittnessed gangs of teens come in there and give abuse to the staff, Laura who is a duty manager bless her is about 22 yet she gets abuse I see the poor lady in distress and crying. I have been made aware the main manager for this shop Nos this and it has been going on for several months. If you could please reply to me with a direct contact as I’m not happy and will be escalating it if nothing is sorted as it’s disgusting security needs to be sorted and it’s not nice for them poor vunvarble lady’s and gents who have to go though that! Sort it out COOP it’s disgusting security needs to be sorted ASAP.”
