£7.50 for 32 tablets of generic effervescent co-codamol. Chap at the counter tried to suggest this was based on what they themselves are charged, which is complete nonsense. Average price for this product is £2.50 - £3.50. This an unreasonable mark-up, a blatant case of profiteering from human misery and the racket running this pharmacy should be ashamed of itself.

Love the girls who work there but this is business and when there?s a problem every week from pharmacist not being in, the pills I take not been delivered so I could have my full pain killer to take and I?m in agony first thing in the morning, they know every week what my prescription , so im fed up belonging there, it?s tipped it off today cos my sons meds isn?t there yesterday and they had a whole month to get that prescription like they are meant to put them in for him, but now this has cost my son a day off and he?s gonna lose £150 cos he can?t work has a barber if he?s heart is racing and his hands are shaking, so if it happens again he said he will leave and find another chemist , im in 2 minds on what to do cos I do love the girls up there who has done a lot for me, Elizabeth is the best up there, you want something done go to her, but they all should work like Elizabeth, if your shop opens at 9am then you should be in at 8.30am ready to open cos if your gonna be let down by pharmacist, you should be told earlier than 9am, don?t wait for them to phone, you should phone them and keep phoning them until you get an answer for the customers, there?s lots of little things, my dad ran a clothes shop for 30 years and I know how shops should be run, since it?s changed from Lloyds it?s gone right down hill, this chemist needs a fresh start and not yesterday , I feel bad but after my son losing £150 today cos someone hasn?t dun that job properly

Great local pharmacy, staff very helpful and polite. Great advice from staff and the pharmacist. Nothing is too much trouble. Great to see a local business doing things the right way.

If paying for prescriptions make sure you have English currency on you as only one member of staff ( if on duty) is aware that Scottish currency is legal tender and if the card reader is not working, which happens quite often you will not get your prescription.
