Martins completed the VW 93P7 campaign and replaced one of our ID.3's battery modules which had tested defective. Martins were very efficient and most professional throughout. Furthermore, we were reassured as Martins had already done the same work on plenty of other vehicles so had plenty of experience with the process. The car was expected, the work was completed well within the expected time and I was kept fully informed. Though a complimentary vehicle was not needed, I was both dropped back after taking the vehicle in and subsequently collected when the vehicle was ready by Mark, the Martins driver, who made the whole process even easier. Thank you Martins.

My volkswagen has been broken for 6 weeks and is with Martins VW Basingstoke. Deposit for part taken, since then I have been trying to find out when it will be repaired but 5 messages unresponded to & still waiting??.When I asked them to chase the part, I was told to do it myself.

Service staff were excellent and kept me informed of progress with my car which needed parts ordered and complex repairs, including reseal of windscreen by external company. When I finally collected my car after a month, the windscreen had been left filthy, with smears and water marks all over it, externally and internally. Martins staff were great, but my moan is with the external company who worked on the windscreen reseal and left it filthy.

I?ve put two stars because although the sales team are great (obviously), the after care not so much. I brought a used UP! GTI from Martins Basingstoke in 2021 and the were issues with the car before I collected it 1. Passenger side door had dropped causing a rushing air sound 2. Brakes squeakingBoth were sorted before collection (as I said above - great) but when I drove it away, the brakes were constantly making noise. It went back into the garage twice more where my boyfriend said he was not moving until it was looked at. It finally went into the service bay to strip the back breaks as there was debris between the shoes and discs.A week or two later, I washed the car and the following day went to use it only to find that the back breaks were stuck on and the car wouldn?t move.I rang Martins Service department who advised me to ring VW Assist which I did who came out and sorted the issue. The guy then proceeded to say the car shouldn?t have left the forecourt with the breaks in the condition they were in.When I mentioned this to the sales rep who I bought the car from, I was told it went through the checks but I have bought a used car and that it wasn?t going to be 100% perfect (get that but not what I wanted to hear!)The following service, i got told that the breaks needed replacing and it would be £500 plus for the privilege.Considering I was sold a car with dodgy breaks, I did not appreciate being told I had to pay to fix them when I had been told it was all sorted.The door has since dropped again and like for the breaks, I will be going elsewhere to have this sorted too.I will not be returning to Martins Basingstoke to purchase another car or for servicing & MOT as I cannot trust in a site that sells a car with bad breaks!

Very bad experience with MOT, No pick up and drop but was requested.No communication unless i called and still did no know status of car until i came up after 8 hours, Spoke to staff and just pushed me to one side to the next customer.At this time will not be returning for any service needs, Also will not be buying any cars which would of been two again.

First I would just like to say a huge thank you to Kevin roads for going above and beyond for me today at margins VW Basingstoke.I had a car on order through motability that I did not think suited my needs and the waiting time was quite long.Kevin was patient, he was quick with the process and soon got us out on a test drive!While we was out on the test drive Kevin amazingly found a car we wanted on port and said it will be available to collect this mouth!I was amazed by Kevin?s service and we hope to receive the same when we next see him this mouth to collect the car.Once again thank you for helping us!Thanks,Charlie

Warranty been used for a job and after 2 weeks have same problem and they keep saying it?s not their fault as the job they do was worth only 2 weeks.Ema welch trying to explain her my frustration and she keep telling nothing we can do . Worst service ever

My negative review appears to have been deleted so I am leaving it again.I tried for a week to book my van in for repair work.Twice I got an answer machine message saying someone would ring me back. They didn't.Twice more I was told by the person that answered that the man I asked for would ring me back. He didn't.At this point I gave up and went elsewhere.
