Would be zero stars if I could put it as the place is not fit for purpose! Self service machines charge considerably more per parcel than scan & drop online. When I have used the machine it needs a person to confirm before printing stamps out which defeats the whole point of it being a self service! Not enough Staff to cover this as they are already busy as the main till point

Amazon hub down pre Xmas so unable to do returns, tried calling store after Xmas to see if they are now able to do these returns, multiple calls made, no answer, went in, huge queues and still unable to do returns, absolutely shocking customer service. It's ludicrous that its gone from a huge building at the top of town to this 1-2 person counter, cannot handle the demand needed in what is an expanding town.

Worst post office, Staff are utterly useless.

Got sorted quickly with sending a parcel as there was only a short queue when I arrived. The self service machines all appeared to be out of order/closed, so that would be the only negative point.

Few counters at the back of a W H Smiths so it?s not fit for purpose for a main post office. Allow an hour for each visit and don?t bother with self checkout as nobody will be there to approve or take parcels

One particular lady here who?s very unfriendly and patronising! The way she talks to customers seem very rude! She always makes me feel very stupid whenever I visit this place. She reminds me of Mrs Trunchbull.

Long queues with only one sick member of staff behind the desk. The small space makes the shop crowded.

Nothing wrong with the post office, but at present the location on maps is completely wrong.Nearest actual post office is between the WHSmith and Deichman near the station

This is an excellent Post Office, they're very helpful. The downsize is the queuing time. On average, I queue 20-60 minutes - last time 60 minutes, I'm trying to see if Shakespeare Road PO would be less busy for my Special Deliveries, or see if I can use the Collect from Royal Mail to do my Special Deliveries for my client. I wasted an hour last time, it was painful with an injured knee to stand up for 60 minutes.

It is always a slow moving queue, the shop is far too small for the long queues just not a enjoyable experience so I tend to always avoid if I can.

Long queues with barely any staff. They also don't offer child's digital check and send passport as advertised on the website so I stood in a 15 minute queue for no reason whatsoever. When I asked why it was advertised, the staff member didn't have an answer and was not helpful in providing details on what to do next. Perhaps the post office will update its website to reflect the services it does offer.

Understaffed.A possible reason for this may be that the location is wrong, and potential applicants can't find it. It's opposite Robert Dyas now.

Very slow service, there's always a massive queue.
