Our horse has been at this yard for 4 months and we are loving it

We arrived in November 2020 and had to leave in April 2021 due to the owner. The facilities are amazing and my horse settled the moment he came off the trailer, the liveries are brilliant and super friendly and the staff are great and extremely knowledgeable, however the owner is not. Her main rule is no whispering on the yard, yet she slates everyone to other liveries. There were a number of occasions where personal information had been discussed to other liveries about myself or others to me and it made me feel very uncomfortable. We went on the basis of £54 a week plus hay and bedding with possibly the occasional muck out... what you are not told is that the shavings are £11.75 a bale and we were not allowed matts despite allowing 2 others to get them. The turnover rate was 7 before we arrived and 5 people left whist we were there for all the same reasons. My pony was on assisted diy with no extra help and my bill varied between £380 and £490 a month! She has very strict rules regarding getting sharers, or having a friend muck your horse out and ride if you are unable to attend for some reason. The school is closed for long periods of time in the autumn/winter despite being told it will only be closed for a week or 2 to clear. if you are on her good books, then it is great and she will be very kind towards you, however her turnover rate speaks a thousand words. Personally i would not recommend this yard if you are looking for an easy going, knowledgeable yard and many others can agree.

Great equestrian facility with good riding on and off the property.
