A place where visiting can be for different reasons. I visit the burial woods, however it is a beautiful woodland and has a cafe both for visitors and a stop off for the many cyclists passing at weekends.

I visit 2-3 times a year as it's my Dad's final resting place. Beautiful place, to be in nature and think about him.

We've been coming here now for a couple of years with a group of University students. The centre looks after us really well and the staff here are great. Rooms in the hostel and B&B are spacious and clean. There are also some spaces for socialising and other activities. The grounds are beautiful and the centre also have some great activities on offer. Particularly, the tree climbing which students very much enjoyed. The farm and site tours led by Will and Christine are also very informative. Vegan food at the beech cafe is also delicious. Thoroughly recommend this place.

Have taken three funeral services here in this beautiful place. It was the first time I have had the pleasure of seeing the beautiful horse which my friend requested to take her to the spot that she chose with me 5 yrs previously. Staff here are amazing and make sure that those of us who are not as supple got taken to the spot chosen in a car. It's a downhill track into the beautiful woodland and a perfect place to just go for a walk.

I walked from Winchester, along the South Downs Way, finishing at The Sustainability Centre. This independent hostel was an oasis after three days walking and wild camping along the route. The staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful.I had a twin room to myself. The room was clean, airy and in a very quiet part of the block. The bed was so comfortable!Although there was sink in the bedroom the showers, bath and toilets were along the corridor.Seperate self catering kitchen with everything you could possibly need to cook and eat your meal(s).No drying room facilities though. The complex is what is left of HMS Mercury, a Royal Navy stone frigate for teaching matelots everything about commuications! There is a section for bed and breakfast clients.Lovely location for a break from the madding crowd.

It's an astoundingly lovely place full of calm and thoughtful processes. The only down side is that there are lots of rules which sometimes effects how much you can detach from everyday stress
