What a pleasant experience! First class reception and CAT GROOMER was AMAZING. Thank you all for for making my kitty very happy again. Judging by the loud purring during her grooming session, she will no doubt be nudging me to go back soon. 100% satisfied owner and kitty.

Yesterday I had my dog at another groomer, matted and they left the Matts hanging off her legs and well she looked a state.I called village pets and they were kind enough to take my dog in that day! And well she looks amazing now. Will definitely be back.

I just want to thank Brooklyn for the caring and thoughtful way she deals with Pepper. Pepper isn?t well at the moment and Brooklyn really made me feel that Pepper was special and she was going to take very good care of her. Pep is not that keen on grooming but I can tell by the way she is with Brooklyn that she can tolerate it and she trusts her. Thanks Brooklyn for a bit of light in what?s been a very dark couple of weeks. I appreciate it so much.

We purchased guinea pigs for our children from here. The children were able to chose them, visit them regularly and then (once the animals were old enough) collect the pets. Each time we visited the staff were really friendly and it made a great experience for the kids. The animals had obviously been very well cared for and well handled. Staff were very knowledgeable about the animals. We would certainly buy pets from them again. We also pop in here regularly to buy things and they have a great selection of products.

Both me and my wife went in to the village pet shop on separate occasions (02/07/22)to ask questions about the Guinea pigs , to say that the customer service was poor is an understatement. The Lesley behind the counter was rude and abrupt and made us both feel that we were interrupting her. Let?s say will not be using the local pet shop again.

Getting a bit fed up with the abrupt attitude of the lady with bobbed blonde hair in this shop. I like to support local shops, but am very tempted to buy elsewhere as I am getting a bit annoyed with her. Not sure whether staff or owner, but she is putting people off. Rudeness is not good for business.
