Boots Opticians were very helpful and professional, i had an eye test with this company, David whom firstly took me through the initial phase was excellent and then Dan who did my actual eye test was so professional and patient with me, i was then handed over to Ivett who again was so helpful and gave me great advise on choosing the correct frames etc, lastly Hannah whom gave everything a once over and was again very polite and helpful, what a fabulous team in Boots, a credit to the company, thank you for making the whole experience very pleasant.Sara Savogi

I?ve been going to Boots opticians for over 10 years & had no negative experiences until I went to the new premises in Lymington last November. The staff were mostly all new to me & they were getting used to new premises I guess. Apparently I needed a new prescription for stronger lenses & I ordered new glasses. When I picked up my new glasses the frames were wrong. Given that the error was theirs I thought there would have been an apology. I had to wait another week to get the correct ones. On collecting them I was met with a completely unfriendly reception. There was no apology for the inconvenience I?d incurred. The problem I pointed out to them was that the number on the glasses frames I?d ordered was different to the white tag which was attached. Have they rectified the problem? I doubt it as they didn?t seem to care. My advise if you shop at Boots opticians in Lymington is to double check the reference number & make sure the staff have ordered the correct pair to avoid going back & forth until they get it right.

Boots Opticians in Lymington saw me very quickly when I had a concern about my right eye. David the optomotrist and staff Ben and Dan were exceptionally helpful and I would recommend this Opticians wholeheartedly.

Went to boots opticians for check up after doctor said my diabetes may change things. Was greeted by members of the team Ben was very nice and helped me as I am disabled I was given a chair for eye tests by Hannah and helped by Sam back to the waiting area. Then called by David the optician for my site test and was happy to find my eye sight was the same but for a cataract starting in my left eye . Decided I would like some new glasses and was assisted by Georgette. Lovely experience.

I went in to discuss getting some glasses. And went to book myself in for an appointment. They had a space and saw me immediately. After a thorough eye test they have given me the perfect prescription! 100% would recommend to every one and anyone!

When I arrived for my eye test I was greated by Ben who took my details. I was shown to the start of my eye test by Ivett who explained the next step. Janye showed me to David the Optician for my sight tests. It Was a very smooth and professional experience.

I went in today for my 2 year check up. As always the team (Bushra, Dan, Hannah,Ivett and Kelsey) were professional, polite and friendly. Great high tec new premises too. I am definately NOT going to Specsavers.

Wow! I was absolutely astounded with the phenomenal customer service over the phone from Sam. He went above and beyond to solve a rather urgent contact lens situation. So impressed I?m going to change from our current Boots opticians to the Lymington branch!

I am writing this on behalf of my Mum who is in her eighties. In the recent hot weather, this store was beyond belief with regard to the temperature that hit when entering the store. It was actually hotter in there than outside. My Mum was asked to stand outside to wait, which is not easy for her and shows such a lack of care to an older person in the heat.On entering the store it materialised that Mum had been given an appointment on the Saturday but had not realised that her appointment on the day she was there had been swapped. On asking about this, the impertinent reception just repeated ' you had an appointment on Saturday' for the second time, not attempting to be helpful and have a conversation about how to sort out the misunderstanding. What a horrible way to treat an older person in the community, who probably make up a lot of their clientele anyway. I am going to be writing to Boots directly as well as this kind of attitude we can all do without these days. It doesn't take any effort to be kind and helpful.

Called in Tuesday 1st September in trouble. Arm fell off readers. Spec saver customer on holiday. Staff cheerfully re attached arm no charge. Exemplary customer service (!). Left a box of cakes as thank you

Visited Lymington branch mid Nov 19 for a check up. I had the usual eye tests conducted by a very friendly team member then I saw a female optometrist who examined my eyes. After discussing my concerns the optometrist advised me she was going to write to my GP to request a referral to hospital for more tests . I received my referral letter within a few days and booked my online appointment for Lymington Hospital. I saw an eye consultant on 02/01/20 who agreed I will need to have laser surgery on both eyes . This will be carried out within the next few weeks.I would like to thank the Lymington team very much for the care and excellent customer service. If you have any eye concerns I would thoroughly recommend this team and would not hesitate to visit them in the future.

Thankyou Maxine and all the kind and caring staff who saw me last Tuesday 4th June 2019 as a walk in emergency. I was on holiday and experiencing sudden vision changes. Maxine and team were wonderfully caring and very concerned, had full and extensive examination and under her guidance sent me straight to hospital in Bournemouth to acute eye emergency, where I was treated with laser for torn retina, which Maxine had thought was the problem alongside bleeding in eye. I was on holiday and I cannot thank the team enough for their kindness and now on my way home to Kent to follow up treatment. Thank you Boots at Lymington for helping me at what could have been a disastrous result if left unchecked. The doctor who treated me at hospital said I was lucky to have such a thorough eye exa.ibation as many opti Ian's would not have been so thorough !!!! Well done Boots â?º
