One of my favourite gardens to visit. Lovely walk with various decorated fairy doors on route. Best tearoom with lovely cakes and everyone so friendly.

Not dog friendly, so very deserving of a bad review. Presumably they will admit children who can easily cause more damage to plantings than well -behaved dogs on leads.Many many people choose to holiday in the New Forest precisely because they have dogs. This is a lovely place for a walk through gardens and a nice tea at the tea house. We had a lovely time finding the fairy doors and enjoyed a delicious lemon cake with our tea. The staff were so lovely to talk with and very informative.
