My first visit to this Pub & was very impressed. Yes it's part of a chain but I couldn't fault it. I had sea bass fillets & they were cooked perfectly...Will definitely go there again.Highly recommend.

Always a good time and good food. Staff are really lovely and friendly.Vegetarian options: Good selection of veggie meals.Dietary restrictions: Not personally but overheard staff accommodating to allergies/restrictions.Parking: Free parking when put in reg number.

surroundings and staff were lovely. the food was not as expected. the meat on the roast do not look or taste like it had been freshly cut/cooked with a large amount of fat on the gammon.the posh fish and chips ere lovely and tasty. the mixed grill was lovely and well cooked except for the steak which was tough, bloody and inedible.previous visit for food on a Thursday evening was great hence e came again. The village Inn is a great local pub, great selection of beers, and by far the most reasonable priced drinks in the area. The only gripe I now have is that the American Tipping culture has crept into the card payments. In the UK we pay a decent wage, please do not force me to have to make a guilt trip decision every time I use my card.
