Didn't have time to look properly as the shelves seem to go on forever, but found three cinema books which were very reasonably priced, and a couple more when we went back after lunch. Friendly and helpful service, although I knew Callum from when he visited my (defunct) Southsea bookshop...”

“Desperate for a scone on a rainy Wednesday afternoon, luck was not on my side. It had just gone four. Predictably, most places turned me away.The café staff at One Tree Books, however, warmly welcomed me inside.Nothing was too much trouble. They kindly let me sit upstairs.My extra-hot cappuccino and homemade cheese scone were served beautifully.A very well-deserved five stars from me.”

“It was just lovely to spend some time in this bookshop.The members of staff were extremely lovely and did not constantly pester people with questions. Everything was organised in a way that made sense and the shop was a good size which was conducive to people browsing without constantly bumping into one another.I only purchased one book and the woman at the till was really nice. I would have bought more, but sometimes I do not always recall the books that I already have. I recommend this place 100%, especially if you like records!!!”

“Very good store but sadly only one member of staff. Wonder how much longer WH Smiths is going to be on the High street and how much theft takes place in there store's. Really felt sorry for the lady behind the counter put in that position.”
