Be sure to check prices when paying because they can be different to those on shelf, esp. 'members discounts' which may or may not be correct. I was under the impression that the customer is only obliged to pay the advertised price, but not here it seems. Staff won't offer an apology either.

I?m generally not a fan of Co-op?s prices or offering, but today I collected a TooGoodToGo bag and the sole member of staff working managed maybe 8 customers in the queue very well, was always polite, all whilst taking verbal abuse from some customers for not having the ability to be in multiple places simultaneously. Sorry you have to deal with that and hope staffing issues can be sorted out soon.

Staff are always very nice. It?s a quick stop shop, so doesn?t always have everything but you can certainly get a good meal here. There?s limited space so some of these reviews seem unfair. There are always people on there and constantly restocking so they must be doing something right. It?s nice that everything is spread out so it doesn?t feel too cramped. Sometimes the stock trolleys are left in the middle of the aisles which is a pain and the bagging areas on the self service area are too small - bring back the manned tills. Otherwise it?s a nice little shop!

I have noticed that with Ginster Pasties they sometimes sell 180g ones when the ticket says 227g on the shelf. False advertising. Also check your receipts as I have noticed some products say 1 price on shelf and is a completely different price at till. Plus when they reduce products to get rid of them that day, sometimes the reduced price is not what you get it for, on the odd occasion I have been charged full price on reduced items. Saying that though, staff are always friendly and helpful and when they do reduce stuff they really reduce it down like baguettes for 23p and sausage rolls for about 13p. Shame their fruit is ridiculously expensive though. I mean £1.80p for a bunch of tiny bananas. I can get a bunch of huge bananas for 75p from anywhere else. I like their 5 for 5 quid meal deals though apart from having to have an ice-cream product always. I like ice-cream but would prefer if I could choose my 5 items from a range of say 10 different foods so I didn't have to have ice cream.

The till experience is now terrible! The new self-service machines are a really unwelcome addition. You've crammed in too many so it's very cramped and there's not enough room in the cubicles for the basket and a shopping bag. Also the machines don?t seem to offer receipts so it seems to be necessary to call a member of staff over to get one. Back to Tesco Express, I think!

I am absolutely appalled to say the least. I came to the co-op on Saturday to buy a friend of mine a bottle of gin as a gift which was bagged and given to me by a member of staff. 5 minutes down the road the bag split open and the bottle smashed everywhere almost harming my friends dogs paws. i took a photo and returned to the co-op with the faulty bag and requested either a replacement or a refund as it was not our bag, it was bagged by a member of staff, who had either over packed it or did not see the bag was faulty, we had only gotten 5 minutes down the road, to be told nothing could be done. I was also told i had 'been gone 20 minutes' which is apparently too long, but the reason i was gone for that amount of time was because i was clearing the pavement of shattered glass so no one would get hurt. £20 to me is a lot of money to lose being on minimum wage and i couldn't afford to replace this. i'm very upset at the customer service as i know this accident was entirely not my fault and am now out of pocket because of it.

Everytime I go in to try and get electric on my key. The staff/till all ways tells me it's not working. If it doesn't work either sort out your software or don't advertise. Simple.

I have rated this one star down to the attitude of the female manager. Her customer service is terrible. Rest of the staff are great!
