Dear member of Staff Paulette: you made my experience with Currys frustrating and horrible, but i hope your phone conversation was worth it.Came yesterday to view tablets and a gentleman was very helpful so i went today to purchase it on the finance option and saw a woman in the customer service area. When walking over to her she was on her phone, then kept a hand on her poket where her phone was whilst talking to me very rudely because she said it was only her there and if she gets busy she couldn't help me..... I was the only customer in that area ...I said wanted to do the finance option with them as I couldn't do it online. She asked for the product number because she cannot search it on the system, because " the system is not straightforward"... After 10 minutes she said she cannot do the finance option anyway from the store because the item was not physically in that store. I felt frustrated and her attitude at all times was disgusting and made me feel i interrupted her phone conversation...

Had a large range of items. Lots of TV's, computer items, washing machines etc.Wasn't impressed with the staff though. A lot of them were congregated together, chatting amongst themselves. Not very professional in my opinion. One man did approach us to ask if we needed help, but it was very half hearted.This happened on a Sunday, on the run up to Christmas too.

Tried to buy a laptop on Monday but no one could be bothered to serve me. Many staff standing around, fellow female customer also ignored and very frustrated. Dreadfull service.

It was a non busy time I visited on a Friday afternoon but I did have to wait twenty minutes for any assistance then the staff didn't know how to start a demo for the item. Non terribly impressed considering the large sum of money I was spending. In the end I purchased from Amazon, saving two hundred pounds.

Good Morning,I recently purchased what I was told to be a chrome book imagine my surprise when I open the box to find a Windows 11 laptop.I tried to return to store but was closed and I need a Device to do some studying as i am a struggling mature studentso I have used it and to my Horror it is as slow as a sloth.So I will be returning it for a full refund at the next opportunity.It has taken me 4.5 hrs just to turn it on and register the stupid thing and I was informed by a senior advisor that this so called chrome book was fit for purpose but as mentioned before if it was a lorry it wouldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding.I am not going to take any excuse that a full refund is not POSSIBLE.RegardsUnhappy ex customer.I've posted this here as you don't do emails

There are staff members in here who do try their best however service is very inconsistent. Most roaming staff members, whom I would assume to be there for advice, provide either misleading or just downright poor service when I'm asking about item availability, or even wanting to buy something at the till, without any real urgency.Many times I have walked out due to just not being served.There are some passionate members here who I have been lucky enough to be served by and I hope the other workers can learn something from them.The prices are also extortionate compared to their online counterparts. I would only recommend shopping here if you are interested in an accountable warranty service, which is all I can recommend over alternative digital vendors like Amazon or eBay.

We went to the shop and ordered a fridge freezer and it was delivered on time BUT the two men who delivered it were extremely rude. They were just going to dump it in the hall, but being OAP's, that was not an option, so they were made to put it in the kitchen where we wanted it, they didn't level it, so my partner had to do it Our old f/f was supposed to be picked up as well ( which had been paid for) but we were told that they were only delivery men and so it was left in the hall (it was an American style one). My partner complained the next day,, and very much to their credit, it was picked up the day after.

Awesome store with freindly and knowledgeable staff.Bought something from here but it stopped working the next day, brought it back with the receipt and upgraded so good customer service.

I hate coming to this store and only do so out of necessity or as a last resort. Walking in you know it?s going to be painful but have to go with it if you want to purchase something in person.Usually staff can?t be bothered to help, it usually takes over 10 minutes to find someone to help meanwhile lots of staff talking to each other/ trying to avoid you as much as possible.Lots of the products are incorrectly priced and most of the memory cards for example don?t even show a price. The general attitude is pretty bad once you get someone to help you.I?ve also tried to get them to price match in the past (another scam and con they say they do) and they find any reason they can not to offer it eg) delivery time not the same as their online store, returns policy longer, website doesn?t show VAT number, shipment comes internationally. The attitude of the manager is not ?let me see it we can help? but ?we probably won?t be able to price match.?I also know from speaking with the online central team that the Portsmouth store deliberately games the system to withhold stock so only customers that walk in can purchase the items rather than purchase them online which is terrible!!What?s more once you actually manage to find someone, tell them they have the item you?d like to buy and show it to them, they then hit you with a hard sell to purchase a warranty to boost their commission making the experience even more painful.I genuinely worry what I?d do if I ever need to return something.It?s a completely different experience at the other Currys Pc Worlds in Fareham, Chichester and Southampton they just don?t always have the same stock?

Clowns not customer service ...especially manager. Be aware as they can lie and you could lose your money. I bought coffee machine with promotion 100 days guarantee. It's mean if your item faulty you could return it within 100 day from day I bought. Exactly happened, I called to Delonghi and Currys customer service and they advised to bring the item to Portsmouth Curry store and they'll exchange without problem. Unfortunately they wasn't willing to do and no matter of promotion. They didn't exchange because it passed 30 days from purchase. When I asked to write me that they can't accept for exchange due it's past 30 days, manager avoid to do it because he knows that follow consumer rights they breaking in law by misleading customers by promoting product and later refusing to do it.Very similar situation was last year than my relative bought faulty laptop and brought back for refund. These clowns tried didn't refund money to credit account by alleging the item wasn't returned. Six months was complained to Currys managers and even through third parties but they kept their allegations and didn't refund money but item was taken. After claim went to court it was agreed that they made error and than refunded. Be careful and hope that this circus will shut one day and stop lying for people because this was my last purchase from them.

Very disappointing!!!You want to buy a product, but they don?t have the product in the store not even on display. They have to order the product for you and delivered.This is happening with many products in the store . Anyone can start a business like this.Here it?s about the brand Currys. ?? they don?t bring the new product when it?s release. Off??Buy now pay later and the extra warranty if you take this from them they gonna disappear from the market. I think they need a new manager in new strategy with the new contract.

There's plenty of excellent products on sale. The staff are very attentive and knowledgeable. I do find that when it comes to paying for your items, it does take a very long time. You stand queueing for a long time. When you do get to pay, the process is smooth and efficient though. They get a lot right and prices very competitive.

Absolutely excellent service, have just purchased a JVC Mirco Hi Fi. Fantastic clear notifications, clear instructions on what to do I chose for the collecting store option. The guy at the collection desk was really polite, professional and friendly. I know it is a big company, but really can not fault the service. And just to end on, the product is absolutely excellent. ? ?
