“I called up about needing to replace a tire and was booked in for an inspection later that same afternoon. I was expecting to be told I would need to replace both my rear tires despite only one having gone flat as this is common practice. I had even asked about this and was told this is indeed often the case. To my surprise, however, I was advised from the inspection that I would be absolutely fine just to replace just the one tire as the other one was still in good shape.When quoting me a price for the tire, I asked the chap (whose name I unfortunately didn’t get, sorry!) if that particular brand of tire was a good one. He told me told yes definitely, but there was a more premium option if I wanted it. I really appreciated not being quoted the most expensive option be default as it showed I was being respected rather than being sneakily upsold unnecessary extras/upgrades that I didn’t need. The same goes for how I was advised I would be fine replacing just the one tire. I could easily have been told I needed to replace both rear tires and I would have just accepted it. So it’s really nice to know you can trust these guys and they’re not looking to make money out of you!The tire was then replaced within 10-15 minutes and I was all set to go. I honestly couldn’t fault this service - it was the perfect balance of friendly and professional. I’ll definitely be back to get my front tires re-checked before my MOT next year.Thank you!”
