Visiting the Co-Operative bank - Southampton branch - always a positive experience. At a time when other banks are forcing customers to use online banking, banking Apps on mobiles, then warning us about the prolific fraud and scams on these systems; always a pleasure to be served by human beings at branch, dealing with financial transactions. Southampton staff always professional, helpful, engaging and knowledgeable. In Particular, Erica, Leanne Smith and Taran Soor have been really helpful and given exceptional customer service. Over time, have built up a rapport with them. They understand my banking needs and offer the best advise. I feel confident I can trust their advice.

I've banked with this company for 16 years and never had a problem up until recently, despite the fact its known as abit of a micky mouse company.Southampton cooperative customer services have changed, they no longer value customers, if anything there is sarcasm over simple queries.I've noticed their bank app holding money back as pending for quite some time and blaming the actual company for not taking money which infact is not true. It is a way for them to make more money.Keep your eye on your finances with this bank people.There is a very young man with glasses who I presume is in charge who thinks he knows it all and is in fact destroying the company, shame but true.

They've been amazing to us. I wouldn't bank with anyone else. We don't have a branch on the Isle of Wight so it's online banking or telephone. They are always polite friendly and efficient

-Inept, can't even make a simple payment-on hold for over 45 mins for a simple payment-Agent lied to me over the phone saying a task had been done, it hadn't which meant i then had to call up again only to be placed on hold for 20 mins to try and solve the issue again- Both agents were rude, patronising and would not listenTake your business elsewhere

15/05/2018 Very bad service. They should look at there hiring practices. Went there 15/05/2018 around 3pm mark, I was served by a awkward young woman with glasses who had terrible attitude, couldn't understand simple things and everything seemed too difficult for her to do, I only asked for information on how to start up with them.
