2 years ago I had an awful confrontation with the post master here. He is so rude for no reason, i really think he must be mentally unstable. I made an official complaint to royal mail and spoke to the hedge end staff about him. It's well known locally that he is a massive problem but for some reason management won't get rid of him. The money they must be losing from lost custom would surely be reason enough to give him the boot. I avoid using this post office at all costs.

Unbelievable levels of rudeness from the man in this shop. Why has he not changed to a non-public facing role yet?! Had to take my 3 year old home yesterday very upset because (for the first time in his life) a random stranger (the man in this shop) was vile towards him. A 3 year old. Every other shop in BW is lovely but this person really brings it down.

Absolutely shocking behaviour from the man behind the post office counter! I asked a simple question about my sons first passport as I know nothing about it, and that was it ! He flew off the handle shouting at me because I did the application online and not through him at the post office, he then got very aggressive when I asked why he couldn't just advise me on the question I had! Then left me stood there with a queue behind me while he went to make a cup of tea, when he returned I was still waiting as I needed to post something and he shouted at me more telling me to leave ! I've never known anything like it "customer service " was absolutely horrific! I apologised to the people behind me to which they couldn't understand what his problem was ! How this man has a job I do not know !!!!

I?ve just had the worst experience having gone in with my 10-month old baby to return some parcels. The rudest man I?ve ever dealt with, for no reason!! Rude from the very beginning, but then I asked him if he?d put all my return parcels through, as I had 3 parcels and only 2 receipts and he shouted: it?s fine (whilst he?d turned around). I said, hang on I just asked you a question about.. and before I had time to even finish asking, he bellowed: you asked a question, who do you think you are?! And walked off shouting other verbal abuse that I can?t even recall I was so shocked and shaking that someone can be so rude like that to a new mum, for no apparent reason. Absolutely appalled.

I have just had a major operation and asked my husband to go to the post office!The Lady serving him with cash was lovelyBut, man well never known anything like it my husband said the ignorant, rude man almost aggressive attitude nearly got told to *** off how the lady kept her concentration impressive my husband otherwise my husband would of had.The man ranting on when my husband left was found out side having a Costa?!If it was me it would put me off for ever! It?s for sure we will now use another Post office in future shame as it?s our localHe told my husband he should gone to his own bank and a number of times my husband replied ?I have already been to my bank?My husband absolutely did nothing to up set him.I feel sorry for people that can?t drive and have to come across him in future some elderly my only see post office staff on their only one trip out a week!

The Ladies in there are lovely.But, the man (you all know who I'm talking about), is the single most ignorant, rude and aggressive person I have ever seen in a retail setting.I was privy to one of his most recent verbal assaults against another customer, who had given him absolutely nothing to become enraged about. It's not even as if it was a single "off" day, I have been present whilst he has done this before.It is astounding he still has a job, it verged on criminally threatening/abusive.I will continue to use this branch, as I have no other choice, however, the next time I very well may surreptitiously video/audio record his behavior.

My mother who is 99 has the new opening hours of this Post Office as advertised in the Parish Mag. It says it is open 'til 2.30 on Saturdays. She wants to keep walking for as long as she can so walked to the Post Office today: it was closed several other people outside. As she is 99 and it is a cold winters day she should couldn't wait long so walked back to her home, she phoned me in tears. It is pretty obvious that the person running the office has NO interest the their customers and he should be replaced.

It's my experience also that you get ignored without acknowlegement. Was in there 6 months ago and was the only person in the queue. The man behind the counter just ignored me for at least 5 mins and didnt even say "sorry i'll be 5 mins ive just got to finish this" ... I could live with that. I was reading in the Hampshire Chronicle that there was some sort of witch hunt againt the post master but im convinced that its just people reporting bad experiences. I use waltham chase and Swanmore instead now - open later too!

Customer service at this post office leaves a lot to be desired, particularly from the man that seems to run it. Often opens late and closes early, resulting in wasted journeys. I've seen people who have been queuing for 15-20 mins turned away when they close for lunch. It's almost like they don't actually want any customers!

Finished work early so I could nip down and post two letters that needed to be signed for. Was ignored for 5 minutes as the workers spoke amongst themselves and then was told they couldn't take my letters until 9am the next morning. Absolute joke, I can't take more time off work to post letters that I should be able to leave there.

Awful customer service, sent from desk to desk trying to post a letter. Both workers refused to write the address on the envelope I had just purchased despite me holding a groggy 4month old baby. Was told they didn?t have time to write the address even though they?d spent over 10mins serving the customer infront of me! Was also given unwanted parenting advice from the women behind the desk! Very rude and unhelpful!

Like mentioned in other reviews, the postmaster in this post office is extremely rude. I have complained 4x to Royal Mail and all they do is make excuses for him. The fact they think there is an online witch hunt against the Post Office is ridiculous, people are complaining for a reason.. resolve it! If your not customer facing then find a suitable job that doesn't require you to be. The rest of the staff in this branch are lovely, they along with the local community shouldn't have to put up with it.

Had a package delivered on Wednesday. Haven?t been able to get it as it has been closed since Thursday. No sign today (Saturday) to say why. I have had to contact the company about my package as it is now to late for me to use it.I have never had any issues when I have been in this post office, but it does seem to run completely on its own schedule. It closes as and when it wants without any updates online.
