“It's a small local store, so don't expect as huge a variety as a superstore. However, they do have a good range of products available and the staff are friendly and helpful.”

“Great little convenience store, running under the Londis umbrella. A little cramped but it carries all the basics. Awkward parking if you have mobility problems, as the outside service road is always busy and the nearest public car parking is behind the ASDA supermarket. But friendly and welcoming staff and reasonable prices.Recommended.”

“John Lewis is my fav shop and the food is still awesomely expensive, or at least that's what I thought.. Went late to do some Christmas shopping on Monday and loads of offers, decent offers on food. Also Essentials lines are very reasonable and in some cases cheaper than local shops. No photos but it's a shop with lots of good...”

“This is a little gem. The staff are so friendly. For an express it is well stocked and open late. More importantly the manager there is great. Always willing to roll his sleeves up and help out. It is my local go-to place now. Great service and great service.”

“Nice big clothing section stretching across two floors and a large selection of sizes and choices to pick. The foodhall is a little bit cramped and it's hard to walk through especially the fridge section but high quality food products.”

“Lidl is an excellent supermarket that consistently exceeds my expectations. The store is well-organized, making shopping efficient and hassle-free. One of the best things about Lidl is the variety of products available, ranging from everyday essentials to unique European specialties. Their produce section is always stocked with fresh fruits and vegetables, and their bakery offers a delightful selection of breads and pastries, baked fresh daily. The prices at Lidl are very competitive, offering great value for money, especially considering the quality of the products. Additionally, the staff at Lidl are friendly and helpful, which enhances the shopping experience. Lidl is a fantastic choice for those looking for quality groceries at affordable prices.”

“Generally staff is friendly ( obviously could happen that one day by chance you get someone who is not in great mood- but that can happen in any shop). There is a reasonable variety of products ( including organic milk for eg.). The shop is normally open till 23:00 which it’s handy.Sometimes you can get some products with discount ( at certain times) as in many Tesco shops. Overall a good shop for what it’s.”

“Always a queue, whether you use a till or self scan, I only shop here when I have plenty of time. Food is good value and you never know what you might need from the centre aisles!”

“I only to buy a few things with a paper. The good thing about it is that if you can't find one item in Sainsbury's, you can pop in next door at the Coop's.”

“They have only one cash point, aside from there’s usually a wait of a couple of minutes which can be annoying at times. Plus side is that there’s a car park. No shopping inside the store on this occasion”

“I'm unlikely to buy beef from anywhere else now I tasted the one they sell. Lots of other lovely meat and cheese based products. Plus the cake shop around the corner: the best in Southampton, in my opinion.”

“Can be busy at times. Only a few parking spaces for those shopping only with no fuel. When busy, difficult to get a space.Well stocked little Tesco store off the petrol forecourt. Friendly team, including the security guard.”

“Love it. As a local, it has many everyday needs. It's calm and the workers are kind and ready to help. They all seem to know what they are doing and the priced are great. Good stock most of the time and covers a wide amount of items, although looking like a small building. One of the best stores to go to.”

4.2Good19 Reviews

“Fabulous staff, they become like a friend after a while, they are so friendly, but also professional. I've not been well with hip & knee pain, & when i've gone in hobbling around the shop, the staff in the co op ask how i am getting on, which is lovely.& xray showed my hip joint has worn away, & waiting for a hip replacement, can't wait to walk properly again pain free. How lucky am i to have this shop/post office walking distance from me.”

“If you are just in need of small shop of your daily needs the this is a good alternative to the larger stores. More of a local convenience store than a supermarket and has about five isles.A few parking spaces are at the front entrance and wheelchair access is available.A self serving coffee machine is available also.Never had any problems with anything so happy to recommend.”

“One of the smaller Sainsbury's supermarkets I've visited, but still stocks a good level of range's ) brands considering.Store layout is easy to navigate and with Argos in store you have two chances of finding certain things in stock.Reductions in this store would be on par with most sainsbury's in the area. The occasional significant discount but also some questionable discounts.Car park adequate size for the store with spaces available most of the timeLimited interaction with staff but most of the time it's been a positive experience.”

“Very friendly and helpful delivery service. But carrier bags are useless stuff fulls out of each end when you pick them up. Apart from that it would have been 5 *”

“The convenience stuff is - ok. It's great to have a post office nearby. The butcher's out back is what makes this place essential to visit though. Order cuts of meat or pick up great barbecue style trays.”

“Im working at the refinery and bought something online and the lady said that i could get it sent there for collection, at the post office counter. Very helpful because my digs does not have a letter box. You have to be working on the refinery though.”

“Used this store tonight and was so impressed with a member of staff named Josh . I saw him confront a lad who he thought had shop lifted a drink, when the lad explained he had purchased it earlier he magnanimously apologised for his error. He then served me and when I explained I didn’t have my club card on me he asked the customer behind me if we could scan his card otherwise I’d be paying £10 for my wine rather than £8 if I’d had my card. It’s really refreshing to see a young man with such loyalty to his employer, integrity when he’s able to admit he was wrong and customer service in going that bit further than he had to. I don’t do reviews very often but sometimes when I’m that impressed I think you need to.Managing DirectorThe Guitar Store”

“Always a pleasure to shop in this store.Very friendly and helpful staff, always very welcoming and happy to help. One or two members of staff go above and beyond their role in order to accommodate a customers request.Following Covid-19 measures.Well stocked shelves all tastes catered for.Would love to see more of your own products instead of more expensive brand names. My only grumble is you took your higher quality Lemon Curd off and replaced it with your cheaper option which doesn't sell aswell??Freezers can be an issue sometimes.Minor issues but overall 5 stars ?”
