Food pretty mid. I got a bolognese and the portion was tiny and I couldn't even tell there was meat inside. At the entrance there was no host so I walked in and sat at a table not knowing about the policy that they sit you at a table and my father got yelled at by there bouncer I suppose. Pretty bad experience wouldn't

Food was average westernised Italian cuisine however the service was appalling and the atmosphere was non existent.

The venue was cold, the food was cold, had to send 3 items back. My pizza was tasteless and had so little tomato sauce the toppings fell off. Worst pizza and lasagne and visit to a zizzis ever. Past experience at any Zizzi had always been good. So it was very disappointing ? this has totally put me off

Ate here for a night out with work friends. Food was average value for money. Had a calzone for a main and raspberry cheesecake for dessert. The flavours of both were OK but nothing special. The cheesecake lacked a depth and the calzone flavours were a little bland.Service was poor; they got multiple items wrong. I asked for a dip with the calzone that didn't come, another friend's pasta didn't come with cheese even though he never requested it be without, and the flavour of someone's drink came as strawberry when they asked for lime.The errors were corrected when brought up, however it was frustrating since we even double-checked when asking the waiter to make sure it had been noted down properly. Possibly this was down to temp Christmas cover staff.Overall, it sufficed as a place to eat but the food was average at best, with the price only barely justifying it based on portion size. I would recommend somewhere else if you want to experience good-tasting food over quantity.

Awful food and awful service. Lady staff member rude and even though we booked 4 weeks in advance they had items on the menu unavailable. Never have I experienced such service in a food restaurant. Wetherspoons and Mcdonalds is better service than this.

Pre-booked to celebrate a birthday including giving menu choices. The table wasn't ready when we arrived.The food came out very late. Some of the food was cold. Ordering drinks was painful.

I visit Zizzi for my birthday with my family and we all loved the food! We had an amazing service, Jordan was extremely cheerful, helpful and welcoming! He definitely made my visit so lovely and even wished me ?Feliz cumpleaños? as I speak spanish. I?ll be coming back and I?m so happy with the service Jordan gave us :) 5 stars for him! Thank you

Super happy with the experience at Zizi Southampton. Casey (Hope I spelled the name right) was super helpful and very proffesional. Service probably the quickest we had in years, food is really good as well! Looking forward to come back again. :)

We were a table of 9, it wasn't very busy in the restaurant, we have been here many times previously before, but I have to say the standards have dropped and we won't be returning at all.We ordered a plain bowl or pasta with cheese on it, we got a bowl of plain pasta and when we asked about the cheese it was like it was to much bother! When we had deserts they were missing key ingredients, when we asked about it, it was like we were asking to much even though they had missed the toppings!Bringing food to the table and putting it in front of the children, then someone else coming over and taking it away saying that's for another table.Coffee was the other thing asked for a flat white coffee and given a latte, it was just a calamity of errors and seemed like none of the staff wanted to be there at all.When you are spending £200 plus on a family meal you would expect better service and attention to detail!Not a pleasant experience and such a shame as it used to be s nice in here.

Don?t think you can have a nice celebration dinner in that place. They will go far and beyond to make it less special and put additional charges to your bill make u look stupid and give u dirty looks. The manager looks good tho it?s a shame service is so bad. Requested a table in a quiet area they seated us in the middle of the restaurant.

Went for a spontaneous family dinner with my mum and younger brother. Absolutely outstanding! All start we?re extremely friends and funny. No one was stood around doing nothing. Everyone was working. Ordered the 3 course and it was great value. We got garlic bread with mozzarella and bruschetta for starters and it was more than we expected and it was delicious. For mains we got chicken malinaze and it was delicious, Chorizo carbonara and it was also fantastic, triple pepperoni pizza which was huge! Fantastic mains. For dessert we got chocolate melt and raspberry cheesecake which was also great. Will definitely be back. Very happy with our family evening!Vegetarian options: Clear vegetarian options in each section.Kid-friendliness: Staff made conversation with my brother and checked on his experience as well as ours.

My friend and I had a wonderful time at your restaurant last night. We were looked after by Casey who was so attentive, friendly and gave great recommendations.The restaurant was really pretty and we both loved the Spitfire mural which was a lovely nod to local history.The food was delicious, I had the 3 course meal deal and each item was delicious (garlic bread with cheese, pizza meat Sofia, salted caramel brownie. My friend ordered the cheesy garlic bread, salmon salad and black Forrest chocolate fondant and she too really enjoyed her food.Zizzi Southampton is definitely worth a visit, if we get to visit Southampton again in the future we will definitely return to this branch of Zizzi.

Lovely food in a great central location, staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely decor with modern takes on the old and newKid-friendliness: Very friendly with my child and treated like the young lady she is at 11.
