We had a lovely Sunday Lunch. The servers were very pleasant. We found the food very nice and good value. The portions were a good size.
The Hare & Hounds Charlton Down is a traditional country restaurant in a beautiful setting just north of Andover, in the depths of leafy Hampshire. Under new management since September 2023, we've recently undergone a refurbishment and expanded dining area with patio doors opening out to our extensive garden terrace.
We offer a carefully-selected range of wines, beers & lagers and a range of excellent, traditional, locally-sourced Hampshire produce, all freshly home-cooked food. Whilst we’re renowned for our fish dishes, tender steaks and famous half lamb shoulder.
We're also have the facilities and plenty of experience in catering for private functions.
