I had to pick up from the collection point and I had to wait more than 1 hour and half. The staff is keeping the door shut ignoring the knocking on the door. I'm very disappointed. If I could rate with zero stars would be closer to the truth!

Shabby, very poorly stocked, untidy shelves with large gaps. No shop floor staff. Only checkout. Should have a sign saying "Going Out of Business". Many of their prices have doubled in recent months, yet they have the cheek to have marked as "New Reduced Price".

Worked here recently as a Twilight Stocker. Direct managers and colleagues are/were great, very friendly and helpful. The 'big' management, ie store manager, is awful especially with issues around pay, with very little communication.Almost everyday I heard stories about how staff were called at unreasonable hours in the morning just to be shouted at and fortunately that was not something I ever had to experience firsthand. This culture comes down from head office who see the store as a cash cow- very little budget, but very high profitability.Every staff member with years of experience all say the same thing- "it didn't use to be this way" pretty much verbatim. It's disappointing as before I'd always felt that Asda were an ethical company, obviously that was wrong.Family, aunts and all, have been shopping here for 20+ years as it's the local shop, but with quality, pricing, and availability issues, plus the way they've treated me, all have decided to shop elsewhere indefinitely.Oh, and a parting note, fix the toilets. Another review here from 5yrs ago says the toilets have been leaking for the last 5yrs. It's now 10yrs later and the toilets are still leaking, dripping sewage literally onto the floor, and only sometimes in buckets. I'm sure that's what the smell is at the top of the crisp aisle- it's directly above the men's toilets.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Online order and this is the third time that the staff in store just can't be bothered. No replacement soup or bread? Terrible. I would strongly suggest if ordering from this store online: order lots of alternatives because they will not bother looking for what you've actually requested or a replacement.

Bought some fake eyelashes for my girlfriend, they had a security tag on which I asked the lady does it need taking off. She said no, when I walked out of the self check out I asked if it could be sorted as machine didn?t give me receipt and looked at me as I?ve stolen them. Explained that I had the purchase history on my bank card that should match. Very bad customer service from people who are honestly going into the store to make purchases.

Love this store, really lovely staff, always smiling and always helpful. Sadly moved to new location in hampshire so on the lookout for a good replacement.

It's a weird store. Different experiences everytime. I sent this photo via twitter recently. Since it's been ever so slightly better, there's always rubbish on the floor and delivery just seems to be chucked everywhere except the shelves. Half the staff don't wear a uniform and 90% of staff couldn't care less about their job or customers. Last night was slightly tidier but there's never any fresh or frozen produce, only keep dry goods properly stocked. Staff just walk around on their phone and will do anything they can to be in your way. The best thing about the store is the Guinea Pig cups/duvets etc etc and late evening pharmacy hours. I just wish they'd keep the shop in a tidier state and better stocked, it's very close to my house but there is a Sainsbury's just over the road with nice staff, stock and its cleaner so after last night I will go there until it improves. The prices were also cheaper in Sainsbury's!! And was very tempted to head back to Asda to refund bits after this because of that. And the prices in Sainsburys on the shelves match the till, the shelf prices in asda waterlooville show a lower price than the till on many occasions. I would up the stars if they can keep stock levels higher and teach staff basic customer service.

Awful experience today 4/10/23Again elderly customers being forced to use self checkout. One visibly upset lady pleading for help as she couldn?t remember how to use it from a previous visit but told to get on with it.I had myself requested a till to be opened shortly before as I had over a £100 shop. As I was packing up a gentleman said to the self checkout lady that he struggled with using this system to be told by the customer service lady who left her desk to shout very rudely that they didn?t have enough staff. Ironic really as when I started to put my shop through four of them were standing there chatting. On another note the outside area with the charity collection bins was over run with uncollected bags of wet clothes and discarded shopping trolleys full with bottles.

Abysmal behaviour and repeated humiliation from prejudiced staff.Never going back to any of the Asda stores. The first incident happened on 22nd of July around 10:30 as I was stopped by a lady employee as near the till after I paid for my shopping. She questioned me at the till whether I paid for all the items I purchased and wanted to go through the receipt for no reason, she checked individual items and the receipt until she was convinced that I made the payment before I was allowed to leave the tilll. She did not bother to apologies to me for wasting my valuable time and for Embarrassing me infront of the other shoppers but just walked off.The worse experience happened on this morning(24/7/23) inside the store after collecting the medications from the pharmacy with my son.The security guard abruptly me walked towards and stopped me to say that if I knew I was banned from the store.I was shocked and humiliated infront my son and public. When I asked him for more details he just told me that someone at the store told him that I was banned from the store after collecting a parcel.I was certain that he picked the wrong man . I did explain him that it was definitely not me as I was not aware of any ban for me at the store and I am not involved in any dispute or conflict with any of the ASDA stores. The security guard then just smiled at me and said then it is alright mate, before he walked back to his seat without apologising me for the emotional trauma and insult I have to experience in the public and infront of my son.I have been shopping at the this store for the last 4years atleast 4 days a weeks and this store has been my first choice for groceries. However, these two recent experiences makes me afraid to go back to the store any more because of harrowing memories.

Yet again when I went in there this evening there was quite a bit of stock, fresh meat, sausages etc that were past their use before dates. A whole box of sausages that ran out three days ago were actually being another box that ran out yesterday. Stock rotation is shocking there.

Terrible behaviour by some of the staff members, they do not have any kindness towards the customers.I was declined a discount worth atleast £4 this morning by a lady senior staff for not having a physical id card with me.I showed my bluelight card and an image of my driving license on my phone.I did not have a bank card with me as I was using Apple Pay.She was very sarcastic, humiliating and demanded that she should a physical id card withme to be eligible for the discount. It is fine to decline the discount if the company policy demands it but as a regular customer who spend more than £200 a month at the store I don?t derserve to be humiliated.I wonder if I was punished for searching for a staff to check out as they were busy having a group conversation and laguther.I have also witnessed same lady swearing at her fellow employees at the till the past.

Clean but it's never stocked, packing trolleys always all over the place, pallets just dumped in the middle of isles. They don't care about the customers here. Everyone is a suspect for theft. Self checkout where you do their job for them is a complete nightmare, you wait at least 5 minutes for a member of staff to come assist you if anything goes wrong and then you get someone who is in another universe.
