Good food and service. Very friendly. Deafeningly noisy due to bare concrete walls, floor and ceiling. You need sound damping!!

The food here is first class. Always fresh, and always delicious.Atmosphere is always great, ( probably because it?s a veggie place ) staff and service is great too.Can?t fault this place one bit.Excellent. All cafes should be like this.

Literally I have no idea what I?m eating.? They are appetizing, though. Some veggies I haven?t had it before and I bet they are nutrient as I feel refreshed after having the salad??

The soup was a bit watery..and the food was a little bit slow, but overall it was quite pleasant.

We've been here a few times now and whilst we've always been impressed with the salads, the service has been poor the last two times (since December). We've had to wait while staff attend to putting things away, rather than taking our order, when it's very clear we are ready to order. All it takes is for someone to ask us to bear with them, rather than ignoring us. Coffee has been slow to arrive at the table. The previous time we went, my husband ordered a toasted sandwich. This took ages to arrive and was clearly overdone as presumably it had been left on too long but it was still served to him as being acceptable when it obviously shouldn't have been. It's a shame as our earlier visits were always good.

Our goto spot for food when in Winchester.The food on offer is super fresh and delicious. The staff are really friendly too. It's a must visit when in Winchester. It does get busy but it's well worth the wait.

Today was the second time we visited with friends, the first visit we ordered 3 coffees during a non busy time and it took around 15 minutes to arrive, plus the coffee wasn't hot. We thought maybe it was an off day, it happens, so gave it another chance today. We were warned of a 10 minute wait - in the end it took 25 minutes just for 4 hot drinks. We noticed a lot of people going up to ask about the wait, and we were told the same that it was busy, then we were asked if we wanted it in take away cups. We had to say yes as our baby was (naturally) getting fidgety after waiting so long and we had only wanted to relax in a café for half an hour with drinks, not waiting that long for them... unfortunately even when we got our take away cups they were really small, certainly not medium for what we paid, and again the coffee was not hot. Really disappointed - the big space could be amazing for mums with prams etc and the coffees could be great if just hot, but I'm afraid we will not be coming back by ourselves or with friends because the wait is just far too long for a cup of coffee.

For years I have been to similar places but in other towns and have long wished there was a meat free eco friendly place in Winchester. Now there is and thank goodness it?s Open House Deli, because they got the formula right. I love this place and it?s my default go to location for eating in town. The food, service, ambience and value are all spot on. It would be nice to have a wider choice of wine or beer to accompany their great food but that?s a very minor point. Overall, it?s the best place to be in Winchester if you want to eat and drink without the people on the next table eating some stinky fried animal carcass. 10 out of 10.

The staff are so warm and lovely, and the environment is spotless. The brie and sweet chilli toastie was to die for and the coffee on par with this. Will definitely come back

Lovely coffee and breakfast. However the premises are cold and kind of clinical and echoey, not cosy at all. There also all the fumes and smells coming from the kitchen, which I didn?t find pleasant early in the morning.
