“I had a tire blowout at the adjacent roundabout that occurred after hours. I pulled in and the store owner was kind enough to assist me in my emergency and would not accept my offer of payment. It is most appreciated from a visiting foreigner. Thank you!”

“This is a really great shop and houses all that you might need from loo rolls to biscuits. It is great as a store itself and the prices are lower than other corner shops”

“Decent size Co-Op with a large carpark on the outskirts of Hay on Wye. Sells a much better selection of vegan products than other branches do but that could be because it's Veganuary. Self service and cashier operated checkouts and plenty of space to move around. Prices on the high side and no public toilets which is unusual for a supermarket so I've deducted one star.”

“Does feel a little bit of a small place but a lot better than a few years ago. To be honest they could do with getting an extension added in. Much better stock now than a few years ago would be very useful though if you could get gas and electric here.”

“It is a useful store to visit if you live in the Tupsley area. It has a nice post office with friendly staff. The staff in the store are also friendly. They sell milk and other useful items like bread, cereal, canned goods and pet food.”

“À mon avis, le 'co-op' etiant assez utile, avec beacoup de le norriture neccessaire. Cependant c'etait plus petit que autre magasins comme 'Morrison's'. Grace a le location de le 'coop' c'etait facile sortir. Ma soeur aime la glace! ”

“I think the shop is good and generally I have a positive experience, my only issue I have is they have had a Costa coffee machine put in which I think is great, but so many times I come in and its not working? Seems to be a staff issue rather than the machine not working, as staff say it will be ready in 10 mins, surely maintenance of the machine should be done as soon as the store opens? Whilst getting a coffee I will more than likely be buying something else, but when in a rush can't wait..”

“A good store apart from the staff that do the online shopping. The majority seem to have issue with customers being around them. They block the isles, very rude if you are in their way. I have complained to management but nothing changes. This is not just my view but the view of many customers. Shopping has become a nightmare in this store now. It's impossible to shop freely as the staff are always in the way. The filling staff on the yoghurt isle are also a nightmare. Just yesterday morning my wife and I were trying to get to the organic yoghurt. A member of staff had a cage they were filling from. The cage was half way across the isle, boxes next for the cage. We asked politely if we could get by, the member of staff didn't acknowledge us, just huffed and kicked a box aside. This seems to be predominantly an issue with female staff. The male staff are fine in 99% of cases. I will add that we are customers that always praise staff, and rarely complain. People are always quick to complain, never praise - we try to shift that balance.”

“Tesco Express Ledbury Road, absolutely first class in every way, the staff always greet you with a smile and are extremely polite and very helpful .They are always well stocked and cheaper than any other convenience store locally and open when most of the others are closed.Well done Tesco's pats on the back all round. NEW REVIEW 1 YEAR ON ——— Now with just about the highest petrol prices in Hereford things aren’t quite as good, it’s a shame because if people go elsewhere for petrol they will probably pick up other shopping as well.”

“Probably the best village shop I have ever used. Ben and his staff are always helpful and polite. Ben has been a godsend to this community during lockdown, taking phone orders and delivering within a few hours. If they don't have what you want, Ben will do his very best to source it, and has never let us down! All of the staff are superb, and always give a friendly hello and help the best they can.Thank you!”

“My first time at this superstore and very impressed how centrally located within Hereford it is. There is a large underground car park underneath (entrance a bit hidden off Victoria St, on the left, by the turn off for Bewell St), with ramp and lifts to the shop floor which is ground level. Parking is free for up to 2 hours if you spend a min £5 in store (no return within 1 hour), which makes it very convenient to combine with other stops in the city centre. The self-service tills automatically give out a printed code voucher with the receipt. You use the code/scan bar code at the parking machine with your number plate. The store itself seems to have a large selection of products. There is also a cafe and a Timpsons. Bring your club card to get reduced prices on a lot of products (forgot mine)”

“Great, friendly staff, no matter what time of day you turn up. Good selection of groceries. And 24-hr cigarette supplies are not to be sniffed (for us addicts, anyway). God bless the Co-op!”
