I spoke to a confident yet lovely young lady who was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of my questions without having to check with a colleague. She wasn't pushy at all, just really helpful. The showroom was clean, tidy and well laid out and there was plenty of parking. A very pleasant experience.

A well known store brand with good stock levels of furniture.Prices are offered to suit all budgets and in lots of different design furniture.Good opening hours so you should always be able to get in to browse or buy.

Absolutely awful!!Had a top of the range(Falcon) leather two seater recliner sofa....nothing but problems with the padding which reduced to nothing on one side. Four visits, two paddings which ruined the look and shape of the sofa. A replacement sofa was provided and the same defect has occurred. We have been advised after a further visit and by a call from the Cheltenham manager that there is nothing wrong with the manufacture of the sofa and it just needs extra padding again!!!! In the mean time we have suffered the miscomfort of the sofa and hit the frame every time we sit on it.DFS have refused to give us a refund as they maintain there is nothing wrong with the sofa but they want to come and refill it.Do not recommend anybody to buy this product or rely on service rectification.

Been into the store twice and both times have had to chase down members of staff for help. They are sat in the goldfish bowl office so you have to try and get their attention through the glass. The first time I asked how long delivery is and was told, 'I can't tell you because my screen only tells me in days not in weeks' so I pushed him to tell me the days and converted it to weeks for him. Learn your seven times table! The second occasion I wanted to know the name of two fabrics because they didn't have a label. A girl told me they were the same colour. I had a look online and it turns out they were different colours. So, I could have easily ordered a sofa in the wrong colour to what I wanted. I don't mind if someone says that they will just go and look it up. But to just make it up when paying over £1000 is not good enough.

Bought a sofa at DFS Hereford this week. Sales advisor Jemima very knowledgeable and put us at ease. Would definitely recommend.

Not very helpful, wanted to buy a chair that was ex display and they couldn't tell us if this had already been sold or not. On top of that they charge in store £99 delivery (which they don't do online) making some purchases not worth it when it's nearly 10% of the value of the item. Won't be buying at dfs again.

Appalling experience, so after ordering my sofa in August to be delivered in Nov finally the day comes and the sofa arrives. The guys brought the sofa in after bumping into a few walls and the front door(a new one at that), anyways , i was kindly informed after they set it up that the electric cable is missing so i won't be able to use the sofa as intended( charge phones or recline it) and have been told i will receive a call same day or in 24 hours. so the 24 hours went by with no call. had to get in touch with customer service, they kindly told me that they can't do anything as it is down to the delivery center but i will get a call straight away. waited another day with no call...got in touch again with them only to be told they can't help , as it is down to the delivery center. and that i have to wait 72 hours for a call. 72 hours since the delivery? the first time i got in touch or the second? the first time they said because the delivery drivers although they recorded the missing part they never asked for a call back....the 72 hours have now passed (5 days since delivery) and still no call. i will now ask them to come and pick it up as i had enough of their incompetence .

Went in to look at sofas in leather, lol ended up buying a 3 seater a chair and footstool, staff very polite and put me at ease all done in about 20 minutes, well done DFS
