“Never been in here before but my mum asked if we could call in as she needed some chicken. Omg why I have never been in here before, amazing selection of foods and amazing prices. I ended up spending about £30 and it looked like I spent double that. Checkout lady was very helpful and really friendly. My only wish if the location was moved to a bigger area where they could open a superstore like the others. Once my freezer starts to get empty after Christmas and New year then I will be going back here to stock up again. Fantastic place.....Update : 17/06/23Still a great place but like everything else prices has gone up loads, can get the odd bargain but no way near what it was like before.....”

“Who goes in here knowing what they are going to buy? Guarantee that you will come out with at least one thing that you didn't intend buying! Looking for marmite? Come out with a pot of paint. Bizarre but keep going back.”

“It was my first visit since Aldi put in the self-service or scan & go checkouts . They need to rename these to 'scan, wait for ages, then go' . Talking to other shoppers & a few staff members, they avoid using these due to them being so slow, stating the normal checkouts as being much quicker to use, so come on, Aldi bigwigs... get it sorted.Otherwise, the experience was good, with great value products and friendly, helpful staff.”

“Decent size Co-Op with a large carpark on the outskirts of Hay on Wye. Sells a much better selection of vegan products than other branches do but that could be because it's Veganuary. Self service and cashier operated checkouts and plenty of space to move around. Prices on the high side and no public toilets which is unusual for a supermarket so I've deducted one star.”

“Staff are friendly and helpful ,the food is satisfactory in the restaurant but not always as hot as would be liked, and the drinks are not hot enough for some, but they have a safety code to stick to so people don't get scolded or burned by over hot food & drink.”

“Cheap and cheerful, always a bargain to be had. I just found the location of this store too much of a pain to get to through the notorious Hereford traffic. Could do with moving the edge of town to improve accessibility.”

“Great store, clean, good range of items, friendly staff, parking, it even has a toilet. Not cheap though, however they do have good offers and their own stuff is decent.”

“I think the shop is good and generally I have a positive experience, my only issue I have is they have had a Costa coffee machine put in which I think is great, but so many times I come in and its not working? Seems to be a staff issue rather than the machine not working, as staff say it will be ready in 10 mins, surely maintenance of the machine should be done as soon as the store opens? Whilst getting a coffee I will more than likely be buying something else, but when in a rush can't wait..”

“Tesco Express Ledbury Road, absolutely first class in every way, the staff always greet you with a smile and are extremely polite and very helpful .They are always well stocked and cheaper than any other convenience store locally and open when most of the others are closed.Well done Tesco's pats on the back all round. NEW REVIEW 1 YEAR ON ——— Now with just about the highest petrol prices in Hereford things aren’t quite as good, it’s a shame because if people go elsewhere for petrol they will probably pick up other shopping as well.”

“A good store apart from the staff that do the online shopping. The majority seem to have issue with customers being around them. They block the isles, very rude if you are in their way. I have complained to management but nothing changes. This is not just my view but the view of many customers. Shopping has become a nightmare in this store now. It's impossible to shop freely as the staff are always in the way. The filling staff on the yoghurt isle are also a nightmare. Just yesterday morning my wife and I were trying to get to the organic yoghurt. A member of staff had a cage they were filling from. The cage was half way across the isle, boxes next for the cage. We asked politely if we could get by, the member of staff didn't acknowledge us, just huffed and kicked a box aside. This seems to be predominantly an issue with female staff. The male staff are fine in 99% of cases. I will add that we are customers that always praise staff, and rarely complain. People are always quick to complain, never praise - we try to shift that balance.”

“Located in the Hereford old market. The fresh produce aisle was a little sparse when we went the first time. Other than that good variety of products and supportive staff.”

“This Londis has had a long overdue change of ownership. The new owners are really nice, the shop is a lot cleaner and smells so much better than it used to. Bonus marks for the staff wearing clothes and not pyjamas to work”

“Good choice of vegan & vegetarian foods plus decent quality cat food. Struggled trying to find vegan wine and anything that wasn't Malbec; why can't they put all the vegan wines together, like I've got time to read every label - not? Chaotic.Would only visit again if I have to visit Hereford for an appointment or something.”

“My first time at this superstore and very impressed how centrally located within Hereford it is. There is a large underground car park underneath (entrance a bit hidden off Victoria St, on the left, by the turn off for Bewell St), with ramp and lifts to the shop floor which is ground level. Parking is free for up to 2 hours if you spend a min £5 in store (no return within 1 hour), which makes it very convenient to combine with other stops in the city centre. The self-service tills automatically give out a printed code voucher with the receipt. You use the code/scan bar code at the parking machine with your number plate. The store itself seems to have a large selection of products. There is also a cafe and a Timpsons. Bring your club card to get reduced prices on a lot of products (forgot mine)”

“Great, friendly staff, no matter what time of day you turn up. Good selection of groceries. And 24-hr cigarette supplies are not to be sniffed (for us addicts, anyway). God bless the Co-op!”

“On wed 25/10/23 me and my husband where involved in a car accident on Holme lacy road just before the Broadley's. As it was a young lady stood at the side of my husbands car and started to direct the traffic, the lady(whom I found out was called Sabina) did a magnificent job and did this until the police took over. The lady in question works at the Hereford Asda store and was possibly late for work. Me and my hubby would like to say a massive thank-you and Asda Hereford you should be very proud of Sabina an amazing young lady.”
