Shocking.It can't really be called a branch.Coins not accepted.ATMs only, no counter service.Staff helpless to assist with much at all.Switching bank a must if you need a branch for any reason.

No customer service whatsoever. The assistant I spoke did not have a clue. Sign outside says a Bank but they direct you to the Post Office for change as the Branch is Digital but no where did it say this about change.

Unable to cancel postal statements online, visited the bank - No help whatsoever.I have a small business - No idea who my business manager is, I never even get the courtesy of a introduction.Very poor customer service is now the standard service

First of all I start by saying that I'm not a review Guy ,maybe I've done couple of reviews in all my life, and I'm not young anymore, however sometimes we have to take a moment of our time and acknowledged the people which went above and beyond to exceed our expectations, and this is what is all about in this review. Few good weeks ago I went to HSBC bank in Hereford to open an account . I did not have an UK. bank account at that time. Before in the same day I went to Santander Bank .What make me decided to go with HSBC ? Was Mrs. Lucy. She was so professional so calm and attentive.She help me a lot. And she guide me through all the process. Thank you very much Lucy, outstanding job, you are the face of HSBC.After more than 30 years working in the Hospitality Industry on the front of the house dealing with customers each and every day I can see when someone is special. HSBC this is what make a difference between you an your competitors.Such employees!!!

Phoned customer service number twice, put on hold for over 7 minutes on both occasions. No facility to leave your phone number for them to call back. The recorded message assumed callers were existing customers rather than new. Not a good first impression.

Slow service. Messed about over 4 appointments and still no further. Mortgage staff really don't know what they are doing. Gone somewhere else and sorted first time.
