Nice chaps but damaged materials and poor attention to detail: spotted some damaged boards on pick up, staff were apologetic and replaced, only for us to find the replacements were also damaged! Surely if you'd given a customer sub-standard materials you'd be very sure to double-check the replacements?! Not happy.

Ordered some doors from the store, which said next day delivery, placed the order, but it arrived the day after it was supposed to, costing me close to 200 pounds for a tradesman , who was supposed to fit the doors on the day the doors should have arrived, no one at the store could help me, even though they tried, no tracking! No numbers to contact either Wickes or the courier, items hadn?t even left the warehouse on the day I was supposed to receive them, I?m attempting to get some compensation from wickes for the money I paid out, next day delivery should be the next day, will I use the store again? No, because no manager helped me to follow up the problem . Very dissatisfied

The pre sales service was very good and the fitter is very good. But Wickes post sale service is non existent. Now been a month without a useable bathroom thanks to Wickes and their supplier. Still waiting on a proper response from Wickes.

Ordered a kitchen, had it fitted but parts missing. A year later (originally started November 2021) it?s still not complete despite final items being delivered in April 2022. Many emails with customer services later??. still no complete kitchen. It has been been dealt with for the last 3 weeks by the Hereford branch, still waiting for a fitter to be in touch. Wickes, do you care to comment? 2 stars given as the design process was good experience, just woeful follow up to actually complete the project.

Don?t come here after dark! Seriously guys, you?ve got good products and good prices but your store lighting is shockingly bad! I came in the spring to look at laminate, It was early evening and I couldn?t see the colours, so I went to B&Q and spent £300 there. I?ve just been in to look at tiles, again I can?t see what the actual colour is because its so dark in your store. So I?ve gone up the road to Tile Giant and spent £600 with them. Basic retail stuff this and it?s costing you money!

Excelient service today. Young lad was more than helpful, uel9ed me find all i wanted, put it through till, as queue at other till, and put it in the car. Dont see rpthat service today. Thank you.

Our bill at check out was 140 something and change. We payed in cash and counted out 8 20's. My partner then handed me a 10 so we asked for a 20 back to exchange for a 10. The cashier clearly struggled to understand and got frustrated. He threw the money back down on the counter and said, "You count it, have you got a problem?" Staff is rude, incompetent and can't count cash.

I'm writing this review on the behalf of my parents who don't speak English as a first language.My parents visited this Wickes store a week ago. They have purchased a new house which they are completely refurbishing, so they needed to do a big shop for things such as paints, kitchen tiles etc. They spent 88 minutes at the store and purchased several items.Today we were shocked when my dad, the owner of their vehicle, received a £100 parking fine. Apparently the maximum stay at the Wickes car park is a measly 60 minutes, and my mum maintains that this parking time limit was not displayed in the car park. They assumed that the maximum stay would be 1.5 hours or even 2 hours.The fact that supermarkets like Asda and Tesco allow you to stay for up to 2 or 3 hours, while Wickes fines you if you stay longer than an hour, is absolutely ridiculous. Wickes is a big shop and people who go there often need to take their time looking through everything and making a decision.My parents certainly won't be shopping here again, that's for sure.

Got a £100 parking fine while we were inside shopping and looking at new bathrooms. We forwarded our receipt for the purchase we made but they would not reverse the charge. I think its fair to say we wont be going to Wickes again.

Bought a kitchen from here, very bad service. Not good design, very impolite staff who did not want to know when I complained. What ever you do, do not buy a kitchen from wicks

Ordered an einhell electric chainsaw online. First time used, it overheated,cut out and would not restart for an hour. Second use, though chain was tightened as instructed, it slipped off the blade, twice. This appears to be a dangerous and serious design fault.Wickes Hereford appear to be very reluctant to organise a refund. First they tried to pass the buck to the manufacturers, which is nonsense - retailers are responsible for the goods they sell being of acceptable quality. Now they say they cannot help, and I must wait to hear from Customer Services dept. Still waiting....In the meantime, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. It is potentially dangerous.
