We had booked a trip to Warner Bros studios for the Harry Potter for my partners birthday and conveniently this hotel was a 5 minute drive up the road. We had arrived at hotel , front door was broken not very useful when you have a lot of baggage , we checked in and got our room key and headed to our room, only to be greeted by decorators painting around the outside of our door after the usual working hours. We opened the door to our room only to be hit in the face by the smell of ?? There were ?marks in the toilet and tried to tell us they were ?water marks? I can tell you they wasn?t. In general the room was absolutely disgusting. We then went to reception because my partner was so put off by what we had seen and smelt she wanted a refund and was told we?d have to wait until Tuesday to speak to appropriate people and we couldn?t trust them one bit after all this commotion .whilst waiting for our alternative solution to the refund a customer was waiting for some service and she was waiting ages for the bar and restaurant and no one was really interested in helping her she had tried contacting them over the phone in the room and the staff didn?t seem interested in helping her. So we was offered a new room ?superior double ? it was anything but superior there were marks all over the carpet , mould in the window , mould and Damp in the bathroom. There was punch marks in the back of the doors , Our towels had stains in them . The two devan bases weren?t even connected and had to secure them ourselves because if nothing was done we?d have ended up with motion sickness because of how insecure and unstable the bed was and possibly hurt if they separated if we didn?t keep still and was so uncomfortable. We could not wait to leaveI highly recommend not staying here and avoid at all costs.I would rather have driven 4 hours back homeAbsolute waste of moneyNearby activities: Warner bros studio tour

The hotel was lovely and big. Staff were great. A nice walk around the grounds peaceful and tranquil. Rooms and bathroom were clean. THE POOL was a HORROR show! It was very dirty and disgusting. The ceiling was dripping water and falling apart. Plus, the smell was vile. Took 2 stars off because of it. We went to Warner Bros Studios, which is 5 minutes away from the hotel.Nearby activities: Harry Potter World

I stayed at this hotel for 2nights, the service was great, the room was beautiful, but there was construction outside, and I could smell the paint coming in! but the hotel was supposed to report construction, because before we decided to book here, we didn't know there was construction and the smell was so strong that we couldn't stay in the room, so we went out during the day :)

Exceptional Service and Attention to Detail!I recently booked a suite at Hunton Park Hotel and had an outstanding experience, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Ellie and Carl. The attention to detail was truly impressive, and I felt that the customer service surpassed my expectations.Ellie and Carl were both remarkable in their roles. Carl exuded calmness, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay. Ellie, on the other hand, went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. She personalised a cake, arranged beautiful flowers, and even included a small Teddy bear ? a gesture that truly touched my heart.I was so impressed with their service that I immediately booked another suite for my wife's birthday on March 23, 2024. After having a room and evening meal booked here for my birthday , the whole treat was entirely ruined ?The bed was lovely but after a day visiting the warner brothers studio tour we arrived back in the evening and the door to our room was ajar as if someone had been in, in the evening we were woken up several times to the sound of a loud pump or aircon in other rooms buzzing and whirring?Our evening meal booking had been booked as an afternoon tea and as a celiac I can?t eat cakes , pastries or bread.The gluten free meal options after a half an hour wait were just two dishes so we ended up cancelling the booking and finding somewhere off site.Breakfast gluten free options fruit or yoghurt, bacon egg and beans..If I could have a refund I would

I went to the hotel to lead a business workshop and it could not have been better. The staff were incredibly helpful at every level, right up to the General Manager. The facilities were spot on and the room had real character.I was impressed by the quality of the food both at dinner and lunch, and the chance to walk in the lovely grounds in breaks made the whole event very successful. Highly recommended.

i haven't been in the hotel or anything, even tho it looks absolutely beautiful through the windows. i have, however, taken my dogs for a walk around the grounds.. the manager was so incredibly sweet and said i could. it's gorgeous there.. even on a really misty and wet day it was a treat for the soul. thanks for letting us wander. you keep this place and gardens beautifully

Room was nice and clean one department was on there game ? you can tell it maybe might have been a good hotel when they had staff, but with everything costing so much you can tell the money isn't going back into the place, battered and not really what you expect to walk into, try less focus on venue higher and more on the bread and butter small things matter to guests, oh and have a look into the food it's awful, breakfast ok but let's be honest it's not hard to slap out a buffet an do a breakfast shift or apparently it is maybe who knows, but try some salt little pepper some love it helps with making food taste nice and stop buying frozen products to sell as well but hey your kitchen good luck ? oh and take cocktails away your staff can't make them just makes you look incompetent

Don't stay here. Myself and my partner booked a reservation with Hunton Park Hotel as we also had a booking with Warner Bros Studio Tours, so seemed a no brainer to stay there, espcially given the photographs of the place (it's not the part you actually stay in). Our intentions were to finish our day out by making use of the swimming pool and restaurant.First of all, we are very shocked at the fact the swimming facilities are even open to the public. The roof falling in, the damp, the smell, the mould.... it's safe to say that we were strongly against using this and are quite disgusted actually.Secondly, although the food in the restaurant was ok, it took an awful long time to come out. Ceaser salad with no ceaser sauce, dry chicken and what tasted like gone off anchovies. Fries with no parmersan and chicken wings with no hot sauce and instead blue cheese sauce that we declined when ordering. We paid the bill regardless.A few issues with the room, the toilet roll holder fell off the wall, there was no body wash in the shower cubicle, and we had to have the heating on all night as the corridors were that cold.For a reservation of £120, and spending £40 in the restaurant, we are massively disappointed. Mainly because of the swimming pool to be honest, again we don't know how it's acceptable with facilities like that to be open. We addressed these concerns via email to the area manager and requested a refund, understandably we did not get what we paid for and its not the level of service we expected to receive. Hald of our email got ignored and no refund given.

Firstly the staff were really friendly and welcoming but unfortunately downhill from there. I can see why this place would make a nice wedding venue but as a hotel it fails terribly. Rooms on the website are probably the wedding venue side but the hotel guest side above the pool are not great and need a refurb. The pool is a shocking mess. Once you make it through the damp smelling stairs you enter a small room with dead and alive flies, just like scene from a horror film. The ceiling looked like it was falling down with water leaking in. We decided not to swim as it did not feel safe to be there on our own. Plus, the pool is used for local sessions which means you do not really get restricted to use it as a paying guest. Luckily we gave it a miss. This hotel could be really great especially considering the location but it desperately needs investing in and not worth the price charged.

I stayed for 2 nights they hadn?t booked us in for two rooms even brought we payed for it so instead they gave us the admiral sweet it was alright but my sons bed was horrible put up bed and my eldest son had to sleep on a sofa bed that was horrible and you could feel the metal bars. Anyway we got through the nights. The second day we went to the pool and it was HORRIBLE it stunk the roof looked as if it was going to cave in the floor hurt to walk on and there were no beds for me and my wife to sit on whilst the kids played in the pool. In the end we never ended up going in as the water looked disgusting and horrible. Overall I think this hotel needs workNearby activities: Harry Potter world is just around the corner

The room was very comfortable and I know some people in the reviews didn?t like the colors but I actually really liked it. The lighting was all very cool and the bathrooms are VERY nice. It would?ve been nice to have a microwave but I think it?s to push their restaurant.We didn?t go to the restaurant or have the breakfast as we felt it costed too much. So i cannot give a good opinion on that. The service was very nice too.
